I have always thought that "Akhborot" informs news, no matter where they are. Now it became clear to me:

Akhborot reports on and covers Decrees of the President of Uzbekistan and Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, official visits of Uzbek President to foreign countries and official meeting in Uzbekistan, sessions of President Administration, Cabinet of Ministers, meeting of Oliy Majlis committees and session of parliament, as well as other important socio-political events in Uzbekistan.
