Assalam Alekum!!!
Since there were lots of talks which language to use, I'm using English, as a new international language, I hope I'll not offend anybodyes feelings, by doing this:))
I'm first time here, but I mentioned many smart peoples here, so that I have a question to you !
My biggest question is:
" Why people so attracted to Chat, and other kinds of interactive comunication? How it's benefit you, when you prefer online comunication to the real one? Is it helping you to descover your inside values, or you just having a fun ? What is the reason, why are YOU doing it?"
I will aprechiate anybody who will be able to share his/her thoughts about this "fenomen";)
Regards,
AzeryGizi

well, I don’t know about others, but I do chat here because this is the only place where I can meet Uzbekistanis. Since I am abroad right now (studying) sometimes I miss my country, my people and language, chat and forum helps me, besides forum is the place where you can get useful information SOMETIMES.

Well, as for me, I dislike talking on the phone, or having a face to face conversation with a person I am not very familiar to. Writing e-mails/letters etc, gives me the chance to rethink and re-evaluate my thoughts carefully before presenting it to others. I am one of the very stubborn persons who never agrees with others' opinions, yet I value them.
Social interactions give us the opportunity to excercise out values, ideas and other technical in real atmosphere.

To me, the forum has an appeal of a train wreck. You know you shouldn't look, but look anyway. On one hand, I am appalled by the way things are for people in UZ, as well as the overwhelming immaturity of forum participants, but I can't deny the entertainment value. I am hooked now, like a heroin junkie. I need my fix every day. Even getting cursed at has some twisted fun in it, allowing me brief moments of moral superiority. :D

I didn't change the topic. The question was, why are we addicted to the Internet, chat, forums, etc.? And I answered it in my way, which may not be understood by everyone.

"Why people so attracted to Chat, and other kinds of interactive comunication?"

As for me, by online conversation people can easily say what they think they should say, and they will have time to think over before saying anything. This makes the Chat, Online conversation more interesting. Why? Because a lot of creative ideas are used. This part refers to those who chat or interact with unfamiliar people. They can grasp very useful ideas from different perspectives. Chatting is also useful when someone is in one country and his friend, relative or whoever is in another country. Chat is much more cheaper than the phone in this case.

"How it's benefit you, when you prefer online comunication to the real one?"

It benefits when I am outside the country and my friends are in the country. I can use chat to interact with them.
It benefits when I am in need of very selected ideas about anything: I cannot meet all different majored people at once, but I can meet them on the chat.
It benefits when I am planning to go to some country, city or destination, and I will need quick tips, I can easily find a person (using ICQ in this case as an example).

"Is it helping you to descover your inside values, or you just having a fun ?"

As for me, it does not do anything. I am veteran in this field maybe, so i know what is chat and what is reality. Another thing: I am not having fun, using chat. I try to use it as an effective tool in decision making.

"What is the reason, why are YOU doing it?"

I think, my comments are enough to leave this question unanswered.
