It's amazing that the gov-t has got guts to openly announce such a waste of money when the nation is in dire need of cash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who cares about a sunny day? Are we (uzbek government) out of our fricking mind to spend over half of million of dollars just to not be under an umbrella? Especially, when the most of this money goes out of country. And I don't think navruz would be that joyful this year. Take a look at the economic situation. People would be more than happy to earn it doing something. Or how about letting the weather to stay as it's, but then to disperse this money for putting up, kinda compensation, so this amount of money could be well spent within the country.

How about they just get all this money in $1-bills and make a "money rain" over every city and kishlak in Uzbekistan? :D Nah. Here is a better idea. Spend this $500,000 to give bonuses to teachers who lost their bus privileges this year. :evil:

My government is idiotic but not to the extent of just throwing money for such a stupid cause. A suspecious me is asking "why do they need nice weather for those days?" Or, the weather will be nice anyway but someone will just put money in their pocket and explain it that, in fact, the money was spent on aircrafts.

Сколько плова можно сделать на 500 000 $.
300 000 $ / 40 $(стоимость одного целого барана килограммов на 50)=7500 баранов.
150 000 $ / 0,3$ (оптовая цена риса) = 500 тонн.
50 000 $ на морковь, лук.

Из мяса одного барана и 60-70 кг риса, плюс 70 кг моркови и лука можно приготовить минимум 160-170 кг плова. Тоесть человек на 300.
И вот что получается из наших продуктов исходя из 7500 баранов.
7500 * 300человек = 2 250 172 порций.

Учитывая что в этот праздник на улицу выйдет не более 500 000 человек на гуляние в Ташкенте, то оставшиеся 1 750 172 порции можно было бы раздать по остальным городам. Весь Узбекистан бы смог поесть праздничный плов из свежего мяса.

В Фергане и Ташкенте стоят достаточно самоётов от Ан2 до Ан-12, которые можно было бы использовать для «разгона» туч. Нет же, нужно арендовать у России 9 самолётов.
388 720 $(аренда 9 самолётов) / 2(дня) = 21 595$ только за аренду 1-го Ан-12 в сутки, без горючего. Если обратиться в фирму «Авилизинг» (та что на Сергели), то та за эти деньги ещё одно место вам поцеловали бы.

Ну так вот ребята, что лучше, откормить весь Узбекистан хорошим пловом или оставить всех голодными, но столичным Ташкентцам очистить небо?

P.S. Цены я брал средние, так что не надо придираться к возможным расхождениям.

I didn't take into account the costs for oshpozlar, since it is the national holiday. And oshpoz is the man who do not get money on such holidays.
In my makhalla all our neighbors and my mother as well used to cook "summalyak". So we just gathered the money to buy the necessary products and the women cooked two days long.
