As we all know, every year uzbekistan guys and girls are going abroad to study for their Bachelors / Master's degree. What are they doing after graduation?

Let say, UMIDies are working for the government, although some do not..
What about other students (ACCELS, GTZ, JICA, British Council, Monbusho, Self-financed, etc...). What are they doing after graduating from the universities abroad? Are they coming back? If so, where do they go usually to work?
Some are not coming back, and what are they doing abroad? Working as a specialist according to the degree obtained? or doing some part time job?

If you have info, please share...

Well, students having studied abroad via such programmes have to come back, but many of them as I know, again going back to US/UK. They only know why:) But many of them are coming back to motherland and working especially not concerning their specialization but their language skills. Like as an interpretator or guide for tourists and so on.

I know some students working according to their degree obtained there but there're some students working on different spheres as well.
I guess, students studied abroad know better in this matter.

I am one of those students and i have a lots of friends who are currently abroad. when i say abroad, i mean anywhere, where it is possible to leave and earn better money. i agree with you, they are very a few of my friends who are actually working with their speciality, the rest are ready to any spadework to send some money for living. we all know those reasons why uzbekistan has a braindrain at this point. corruption and beurocracy doesn't allow this people to use their skills towards the prosperity of their motherland.

I work in my field. If umidies graduated from good universities, they shouldn't have any difficulties finding good work in their specialties.

working in uzbekistan sucks big time, does it mean you gonna stay in US for your life time? i have friends in uzb who are from umid fund, their life sucks like hell, man. they don't have any opportunities to implement what they learnt, isn't it said. Moreover they earn 15 bucks a month, that's ****ing outregious. i don't see the point why government has this fund any ways. probably they see good opportunity for money laundry!!!
