UWED сравнительно лучший университет в Узбекистане. преподователи не так уж плохи, не сильно коррумпированны, требования большие. уровень судентов высокий

как нащет 'Малазийского', или того что от него осталось? used to be a nice place to study

Восточка из аут оф куесшен, мой близкий знакомый окончил филологию арабского языка с четверками и пятерками. у него очень скромные познания арабского языка и в других областях он не особено преуспел, например он не может пользоваться компьютером, не было возможности научиться в своем институте. хотя когда я с ним учился в лицее он был далеко не глупым. Ваше время еще и не приходило

Странный у вас подход к вопросу. Речь ведь идёт иб университетах разного профиля. Ответте мне, пожалуйста какие специальности имеютса в УМЭДе? МЭО и МО. А в Малазийском? маркетинг и финансы, сколько специалностей в Восточке? много разного и не нужного. НО вед все ети ВУЗы специализируютса в разних направлениях. Как мойно сравнивать УМЭД и ТГТУ? Специалности коториые преподаютса в ТГТУ, УМЭД и во сне не видывал. Как мойно сравнивать факультет Механики ТГТУ и Факултет Международной Економики УМЭДа. Ето йе абсурд какой то!
Я думаю никакого Физика УМЭД или Восточка не интересуют. И никакого Международника ТГТУ не интересует. Так что, все ваши реитинги сверху - дазнт мин анисинг. Каждиы старалса перекричат других что ыего ВУЗ ис ДА БЕСТ! хехе...Каллани ишлатиш кере, каллани! как говорил великий Ленин.

Tak kak vse prepodavateli po MP ushli ot UWED i eto pravo bilo osnovano i prepodavalas po sovetskoy pravovoy sisteme, eta spatzializatsiya uzkaya shtobi stat fakultetom. US voobshe ne priznaet MP. kak ono doljno bit. Tolko evropeiskie i pazvivayushie strani priznaet ee. V UWED uchebnaya systema bolshe pohoje na americanskuyu esli ya ne oshibayus, (utchebniy process totchno, po kraymoy mere eto tak bilo).

1. Otkrovenno govorya ya ne znayu konkretno kak nazivaetsya etot fakultet ya bila tam v proshlom godu i togda uslishala takie sluhi... voobshe to nazvanie fakulteta ne obyazatelno otrajaetsya v diplome. Nu esli vam prorektor tak skazal tak i est.

2. Da, vi pravi shto potchti vse eshe prepodaetsya po sov. systeme. ya ne znayu potchemu tak? spetsialisti? daje v Rossii uje posle razvala vse po drugomu osobenno voprosi MP, oni uje ne podderjivayut sovetskoy politiki MP.
3. O tom shto America ne priznaet MP ne oznatchaet shto oni ne prepodaet etot predmet oni prepodayut no u nih sovershenno drugoy podhod k etomu. I Americanskie universiteti oni nezavisimie. Utchenie mogut imet lyuboy podhot daje kritikovat politiku US. Oni dumayut tak: MP ne shushestvuyet ili ne budet visshey pravoy, vishestoyashey nad natzionalmoy pravoy a ono yavlyaetsya tchastyu natsionalnoy pravoy kotoroe ohvatchivaet mejdunarodnie otnosheniya... itd eto dolgo obyasnit.
4. Kogda ya utchilas shas neznayu v UWED bilo testovaya systema. Eto tipitchniy americanskiy sposob, I eshe tolko v Amerike daet diplom s nazvaniem "Bachelor degree". Bakalavr, i potom Master degree u nas dva goda v amerike toje, nu tam eto vse razlitchaetsya po spetzialnostyam. Ostalnih stranah tokoy systemi netu.

Esli tcho ya gotova obsujdat. To shto ya govoryu eto subyektivno. Vi mojete ne tak uj obrashat vnimaniye.

because our educational system has not been formulated yet. And trust me, it won't be so within 10-20 years. We still depend on former USSR, economically, socially...many stuff. So we can't rapidly change it. and we are lack of high-qualified teachers who would teach at the Univs. and we're lack of study materials, mainly books. Every year Uzb. government wastes a huge amount of money to republish books for schools. First time in kyrillic alphabet, then in Latin, then in uzbek...hell knows the reason... and nothing to say about the situation in Univs. Majority of specialization leans on russian materials(books, brochures, magazines...), I know some books published in uzbek, but they're just the translation from russian to uzbek, and the translation is also weird. Very difficult to understand. So what's gonna do students who is lack of russian language? got struck dumb forever?...
International Law is now accpeted in US? c'mon, stop bulling... it may seem after the war on Iraq, but US doesn't mean the World! In every state, constitution says about the domination of International Law then a domestic ones.
Testing system, first of all, invented in Turkey if i'm not mistaken...anyways, it doesn't mean that whole system consists of US system. Frankly saying, I'm eager to have US system in our country, not only in UWED. free attendence, free chose of the subjects... but we're far from these all...

Thanks, anyways. So what can you say about the steps that should be taken ahead in order to imrove existing educational system? i guess you have both UWED and foreign study experience, so it'll be easier to compare I suppose.

Tashkent State Technical Univesity, faculty of Business Management (taught by malaysians) used to be the best of its time. If you recall, many student from UWED and other Universities took an exam to get into that faculty.
Now, think about this...who are those malaysians? Bunch of malaysian graduates from British/US/Malaysian schools, who got their 1-2 year masters/bachelors in their majors.
If those loosers could orginize such an effective faculty compare to our local faculties...What would you think about our former and recent local faculties..It's ALL Crap! that is what it is.
Who is teaching our students? Bunch of old farts, who can't see far then your pocket..which has a big reason of course.
After all, WHO CARES! If you don't take care of yourself, Noone will.

Obrazovaniye v horoshem universitete ne dayot sebya znat v perviye 5-10 let raboty, no posle etogo perioda naverh pdnimayutsya v osnovnom vypuskniki luchshih unversitetov. Dlya sravneniya v Uzbeksksih vuzov vremeni malo proshlo.

A yezheli smotret' na segodnyahsnih liderov, to kotoruyutsya vypuskniki soyuznih partshkol, MGU, politeh i zarubeshnih vuzov.

Kstati, Kamolot organizoval likbez kursy po teoriye i praktike komsomolskogo dvezheniya dlya rayonnih instruktorov, ih dazhe po UzTV pokazyvali. Kto-nibud v nih uchastvoval? Hotelos by uznat vashe mneniye.

But it has good resources to study...and still it is producing some quality...

So, what do you suggest an average Uzbek with the greatest potential should do, given he lives in Uzbekistan?
It is not the University that "sucks", but rather it is the governments failure to ensure that the Universities are all up to the standards. Operating under very low budget is extremely painfull for any educational institution, would resort to overcomming these shoratges in any other "availbale" way.
