My answer for your WHY ?

Because I was born there, I spent 20 years of my life there, I learned about world there, I became uzbek, I became muslim, I became student, I became son, I became brother, I became grandson, nephew, friend, etc

the list can go very long....all what contains in it explains us ourselves....so everything in us is deeply connected to that place where we got ourselves....

I miss Tashkent....it is strange why don't government let this beautiful place prosper and let the people florish...

I hope even if we cannot (young people of Uzbekistan) can see the good days of Uzbekistan our children will live in much better Uzbekistan.

Perhaps you are not aware that I am a woman. And as a woman, it was made clear to me in Uzbekistan that I was only good for serving tea and playing grab-ass. :D My Political Science teacher at UWED said to me in front of the entire class that women have no business studying PoliSci, and we should go to culinary institute instead. The saddest thing, that teacher was a woman herself. See what I mean?

This is not quite right! Did you ever think about what will happened to you let say in next 45 years? After you gave a birth to your children you will be setting at home watching our TV eating snacks, if you lucky your children with your grand children will visit you once in 2 years. Of course it’s just a cheapest opera, you probably will die quite in a very, very safe environment. I can continue but I don’t want to…, I don’t blame anybody and I don’t judge anybody.

Well, t-happy made a point that, “4. Culture and history (cheapest Opera House in the world, etc.)”, what I tried to say that we all know American culture, the way how parents treat their children and how children treat their parents. I personally lived with American host family she was 60 and he was 65, they children were far away the last time when they visited them was as he mentioned 3 years ago. And we all know that in our culture (Uzbek) we always care about our parents and grandparents, we never leave them alone, there is always somebody that who looks after them. The point is Culture is important.
