harmonisation european legal systems by EUROPEAN CIVIL CODE. but unfortunately, i couldn't find any "real" info about it. there are some articles but they don't describe it totally.
as far as i know u did EC law as well. if u can and if wish let me know about it mate.

BOLALAR,

There are several conventions, agreements and intergovernmental treaties on the subject.

For example, you can find useful info on Lugano and Brussels Conventions (in most EU textbooks or in Private International Law (Conflict of Laws) textbooks). The Conventions are on harmonisation of jurisdictions and on applicable law (within the EU).

Besides, I am sure you can find at least a couple of EU Law texbooks in your Library.
