I guess an American attitude "I'll sue your ass off" is infectious.

Wouldn't it be funny if in every daily threat you'll put suffix of "I'll sue if you don't"? "hey wife, bring me the remote control, and don't delay before I'll call my lawyer"

But seriously, people do need the justice, especially in Uz. But unfortunately, some people [like this guy] take to extremes that clog an access for others.

$10,000,000 is equivalent to, American standards, about $10 billion. Obvious, if he receives this amount of money, it would be unjust to Uz. citizens because this money will be coming out of Uz.' tax payers money, even if IAK were to pay; he’ll steel more to compensate his lose.

BB is right about the laws.

Moreover, as far as i know, the president of Uzbekistan has political immunity and you cannot sue him. We have no impeachment and the article is somewhat misleading.

Talib Yakubov, the head of the Human Rights Society of Uzbekistan, HRSU, said
that Mamatkulov's legal action could teach the Uzbek authorities a valuable
lesson.

HRSU claim to defend rights but don't know the law themselves...
