Uzbekistan used to be leading country in Central Asia... Don't want to say anything regarding Uzbekistan today and its whereabouts. It's very sad to see and ascertain that such a great country has been falling out gradually with its economic system and political distadvantages pursued with corruption. Just think, if government and population in whole won't change their approach to development, Uzbekistan will not only loose their current investors it will sink in poverty of its own illegitimacy. I bet, a lot of you will defend actions of UZ government, but it's crucial to undestand that faith of the nation depended upon the chaos Uzbekistan aroused with. Think about it.., it's not an act to protest but I'm sure open democracy would help.

Guestfromoverseas: 1cc77b3e, to be on the right track as your subject here what I have to say: to expand the term of 'Uz economics' is the matter of a simple spelling correction: Uneconomics. In the other words, do everything counter what's taught in Econ101.

The Uzbekistan government is doing a useless work of trying to disprove that economics actually works. Unfortunately this experimentation is also costly, too costly to many citizens of this country.
