Michael Owen arrived in Madrid. His plane landed on Torrejón de Ardoz aerodrome at 17:50 to head for Clínica La Zarzuela where he was to undergo the relevant medical examination. The Englishman was accompanied by his personal assistant and Javier García Coll. Real Madrid doctors Alfonso del Corral and Juan Carlos Hernández took the samples, made an examination of his locomotor system, as well as the cardiological tests and some X-ray.
