First Of All, I May Have Been Too Harsh In My Earlier Remarks, But I Only Wanted To Stir Up Rivalry So Don't Take Offence From That. I'm Sure I'll Continue To Visit This Forum Until The Game At Least
Let Me Clarify Something To You:
1)i've Seen Uzbek (and Other Cental Asian Teams) Over The Years And I'm Very Impressed On How You Always Capitlize On Your Home Advantage. You Win 90% Of Your Home Games By Good Scores Which Is Good
2)but, Your Teams Are Very Week When You're Away From. You Collapse All The Time And End Up Losing Big Time, This Is Strange But That Is How It Is For You Guys
3)the Game In Uzbekistan (1-1). I Know Both Teams Have Improved Since Then. Iraq For Example Got Rid Off That Stupid German Coach, We Replaced Him By An Amazing Iraqi Coach Who's A Proven Winner. So Our Situation Was Bad In That Game, Yet We Sill Pulled A Draw In Your Home Which Is A Good Result
4)i Don't Know If You Watched The Game I China (1-0). Iraq Was The Better Side In The Game, Your Team Was Lucky In That Game. Iraq Completely Outplayed You In That Game, And I'm Sure We Will Do So In Amman Infront Of Our Fans
5)your Team Relies Completely On Feekicks By Kasimov And Iraq Has Found A Solution For This Issue, You'll See It On October 13th

In contrary to your earlier statement, this victory showes that we can win away matches from strong teams. Iraq did not outplayed Uzbekistan in that game. Uzbekistan outplayed ALL three teams in that group, that is FACT and you gotta admit it. We got 100% result from that group.:
LOOK, THIS IS WHAT YOUR OWN COACH SAID AFTER THE IRAQ-UZBEK GAME IN CHINA:
Speaking at the post-match press-conference, Uzbekistan coach Ravshan Haydarov said, "It was very difficult match and we are happy to get the all-important victory. But due to tension and anxiousness, we made some mistakes and we were lucky finish the game with three points.
"Both teams performed well with Iraq being unlucky to get a point," he added.

OF COURSE HE WOULDN'T GO AS FAR AS SUGGESTING IRAQ DESERVED TO WIN THE GAME, BECAUSE OF THE NATURE OF HIS JOB WITH THE OPPONENT TEAM

Excuse me of course if I insult u somehow but can u tell me one thing. Why almost all arabian teams and players play so dirty football? They often do not consider fair play. We have seen that many times.
If arabian side leads during the game it tries to waste the time. Arabian players often make mean impacts when referi doesn`t see situation. U guys love to harm good players. Last game of our champion Pakhtakor in afc champions league prooved this again. After the score of the game become 3:0, arabian players (Al Wahda) tried to injure our players.
Why? I can`t understand. Nobody respect arabian teams and nobody wants to play with them because of that unfair play. Can u explain me why arabian players like to cheat so much. We`ve seen when your players show that they`re dying of pain and after minute they`re well. Are your players girls? Can they play like real men?
However I should admit Iraq is doing very well but I bellive we are better.

you have to differentiate between the rich Gulf sides (Saudi,UAE,Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain,Oman) who play unfair and other Arab teams like Iraq,Jordan,Syria,Lebanon,Palestine who play fair and square. Arab teams also include North African countries like Egypt,Tunisia,Morocco,Algeria,Sudan..etc who play fair and square too.
I agree that Gulf teams play dirty and corrupted, but you can't generalize that for all Arab teams. Arabs are more than the Gulf states. And you can probably see that Iraq is not like them.
hope you understand

Well, I tried to analyze your post and I should admit that u`re quite right. In fact Iraq didn`t play dirty in China and in Olimpiad. Palestine was ok too. But I remember Jordan, they played very bad in Tashkent in 2001 or 2002. I don`t remember exact year. I didn`t see actually Egypt,Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Sudan expt for Marocco. Marocco is ok.
U shouldn`t understan wrong I don`t blame u. I just try to understand why some arab players do so. And of course I apologize for my generalization. Of course some players can not stand for all nation.
But in that game Iraq will not win. Hope that u will not disappear after the game.;)

i read all quotes written to your threat. first of all, its really great that in spite of situation in your country, national team is showing amizing football. I followed all mathces in olimpiad. Your team played there a good game, and gained a fame. Probably your team is stronger at the moment what i doubt, but we r lucky team. Lets wait october 13th. Only then we can see who is defeated.
And hope for a good and prepare yourself for a bad;)

Thanks for admitting the truth. I agree that your team gets lucky sometimes, while Iraq is unlucky like usual. Luck does play an important role in deciding games often. Iraq is now a very different team, and is surely among Asia's best 3 or 4 teams. Iraq considers the game against Uzbekistan a life-or-death amd will not let down the dreams of more than 25 million Iraqis to reach World Cup for 2nd time in history.
May the better team win on Oct.13 (inshalla it's Iraq;) )

Iraq4ever,
As you can see, most of the members of this forum are sympathetic towards what Iraqi football have achieved despite the war.
In my earlier posts, I tried to make you aware of the curent situation and bring to your understanding that today, pressure is on your side. Your presense in this forum is the evidence of it.
Yes. Iraq is under pressure to win the game no question about it. Iraq is probably under more pressure. However, let me tell you 1 thing that you should know about Iraq, Iraq Excels under pressure. From the dark days of Uday, the Sanctions, where the players would be torchered and humilated if losing, yet the team remained one of the very best in Asia.
This is the very same team that entered a life-or-death game against North Korea in Olympic Quals. The game was in Amman (the same stadium we'll meet you on Oct.13). The team had already lost the first leg in North Korea 0-2. Iraq put on a heroic performance to win the game 4-1 and advance.
And one more thing, Uzbekistan would also be under a massive pressure to avoid defeat. It's never easy to go your oponent's turf and snatch a draw. I remember 4 years ago, Iraq was in a life-or-death against your neighbours Kazakhstan in WCQ 2002. The game was in Kazakhistan and Iraq had to avoid defeat to advance. The game ended 1-1, but I must tell you then I was SCARED because having to play away and get a draw is a tough thing to do.
Now I'm not totally relaxed about the game on Oct 13. A bit of nervousness and tension is always present in such matchups by both sides. But, believe it or not, I'm much more comfortable about this game than the kazakhistan game 4 years ago. I would rather to be in situation where I must win at home, rather than going to an oponent's turf searching for a draw.
Your team is young and you play relatively (compared to other arabs) fair game. But what you lack is tactical flexibility and we know all your weaknesses and understand the weight of pressure on your shoulders and dream of reaching WC2006.
First I didn't the fairness part because you're doubting our team's ethics and this is not acceptable. Second, If you're judging by what you saw in the Asian Cup, let me tell you 2 things.
1)The Asian Cup, believe it or not, was just a PREP for Athens for us. That's why we brought our entire Olympic team to China and left several key senior players at home
2)Even then, we still played well in the Asian Cup. But I can easily tell you, that our team in Athens (the exact team that played in China), have played 2 times better than in the Asian Cup. We have raised our game. And let me tell you another thing, If I was you, I would be really worried to see my own NATIONAL TEAM getting outplayed and dominated by the OLYMPICS TEAM (age average=22 years old) as you saw in the game in China
I belive you are doing nothing to prepare for this match so far, while our guys are playing lively in AFC.
Wrong. The team has already starting preparing for the game in Baghdad. We've scheduled a friendly with Bahrain a week before the game against Uzbekistan.
I actually believe your team is not (and can not) assemble for training for the game considering that you have players in Russia who won't be released by their clubs until 3-4 days before the game (FIFA Rules). So that's all the time you've got to prepare for the clash
By the way, your foreign coach was not from Germany, he was from Austria,
Again you're wrong;) Bernd Stange is from Germany (East Germany) and I'm 110% sure about it;)
regards
hope to see you again after the match, just to analyze it and discuss what were the main faults of your lost:lol:
Good luck

Hey Iraqi,
I watched that game with Kazakhstan because I was in Almati. Kazakhstani team completely outplayed you and they were supposed to win. But we are unlucky to have Arabs in our continent. They will always pay bribes to judges.
You cannot play like men. Your players always fall on any small pretext. Arabs are our soccer tragedy. Mostly because of you, dirty footballers, Asian football is lagging behind even Africa.

You cannot play like men. Your players always fall on any small pretext. Arabs are our soccer tragedy. Mostly because of you, dirty footballers, Asian football is lagging behind even Africa. First of all, Football Uz already asked a similar question in a much more intelligant and behaved way and I answered him accordingly and he understood. Apparently, you didn't, or pretended to have not understood it at least. I don't know what do you want me to call you? An idiot? i won't reply to your low-level language which reflects your sick personality. i would advise you to check a doctor to see what can be done. Man, you'rre in serious trouble
Secondly, regarding the Iraq-Kazakhistan I would advise you to watch the first game in Baghdad which also ended 1-1. We completely outplayed them and dominated them yet they tied us. So, all in all, I guess both teams got lucky in 1 game (away) and unlucky in the other (home). So that makes the two draws fair overall. Iraq was unlucky not to win at home just as Kazakhistan was unlucky to win at home. So the two results balance out, plane and simple
Hope you use your brain next time when you write, or actually, before doing so, report to a phychological clinic first. They would help you alot trust me

I would not estimate one's mental condition or intelligence from the posts.
Regarding the Arab football, I repeat one more time: the Arabs cannot play like men, if they do Uzbekistan will always win them. Just watch Arab teams playing against Uzbekistan: you always rule-breakingly stop our forwards, your players always fall on any pretext when you want to finish the match sooner and the judges neglect these facts.
Take care man.;)

Hi all,
Im an Iraqi as u can see from my nickname.
-1st I would like to say that Uzbekistan improved alottttt since the last 2years, they are in one of Asias best teams no doubt.
-2nd I would like to answer the the User saying that Iraqi players are cheaters...Let me tell you that Iraq is not like the rich gulf countrys(SAudi,Kwait,Bahrain...). And for your information we won the FairAward play in Athens2004.
-3rd Im really worried about our game on the 13th of October, I know thers a possibilty that we dont win, but let me tell you that our team has changes big time since AsianCup in China. And we will give you a hard time. MAy the best team win. Im looking forward to come and discuss the game with u on the 13th October, I hope the disscussion will be about the reasons why uzbekistan lost ;) .
P.S.: I THANK ALL THE MEMBERS THAT SAID KIND WORDS ABOUT THE IRAQI TEAM.

Hey, please, be careful what you say. Don't provoke us.
Look to your country today, before you say something...
OK, this not what i want to say you. We respect the folk of Iraq, but i see some of them like you don't deserve it.
You are agressive here, you don't discuss normally.
So, now is this thread CLOSED.
And I will close or delete every agressive thread of Iraqi people.
Dear Iraqi people, if you continue so, you will be banned from this forum.
