View Full Version : Election Is Up To Your Vote

Guardian

Let's imagine, even it's too unrealistic.
You were an American citizenship and your vote would choose the Presidency. All people had voted and just you left. Before your vote both Bush and Kerry had the same rate, precisely the same, dot to dot. Nader is too low. And, just your voice would define who takes the White House Admisntration. Whom would you vote for? You don't have option: neither.

Plz, select the poll answer you are for, and give some comments if you would like.
Myself: I actually hate both the candidates and if my voice were not influental as above, i would vote for Nader.

If the above stated situation, I would go for the Democrates, just because I hate Republicans' ideology more. If Bush won the election, it would be an allert for more mess in the world. He is very dangerous with his back ideologists. I don;t like Kerry for what he has done (Vietnam) and his plans about Iran. And, he seems to me mysterious with his plans. He is not as obvious as Bush and I am afraid Americans would not be deceived with illusions. Just DILEMMA!!!

And you?:)
JOE

PS. Poll will be automaticly stopped on November 3rd...
PPS. Your contribution is appreciated...

I believe most everything they say is bullcrap and lies. Neither one can possibly deliver everything they promise. I then just pick by who has the 'right' sounding name.

I would vote for Kerry. If possible two times. I have never hated anybody as much as I hate Bush. His hands are in Blood of about 100.000 iraqi people, Muslims. Everyday I get phone calls for polls. They ask whom I would vote if elections were that day. I say KERRY!

They ask, more likely like Kerry or definetely Kerry?
I answer-1000000% SURE, KERRY.
. We gor Kerry t-shiirst and wearing them. Our manager is pissed of, But she cannot do anything about it. Well, if Kerry wins, We are having a Huge party with my buddies.

Poll voters are from Uzbekistan unfortunately. And of coz our mentalitet is not changeable:) ( who is in power we prefer that one, and even if we do not prefer also can't say anything against him)

In short weeks Osama Bin Laden will "vote" for election and that vote will give chance Kerry to win.

Bush is already out of power. :)

I've heard recently that current polls show Bush is leading Kerry by some points, and is favourite to win the election. How can things change so quickly? Last I heard Kerry was significantly ahead, won the debates, and things were looking promising for the world. Also, what difference will the outcome of this election make in the long run? Is there really any substantial difference between the policies of Bush and Kerry?

I sense that you are probably shouting at your monitor right now in disagreement, but that's because, while I do not believe Bush to be a very sincere rightist (he is a rightist, but not a very sincere one), he is an authoritarian. What's worse is that he's an authoritarian with an interventionist foreign policy.

Many people confuse 'authoritarian' with 'right-wing', 'Libertarian' is the polar opposite of 'authoritarian' while 'liberal' is the polar opposite of 'conservative'. The best way to think of it is as two continuums that intersect at right angles: the liberal-conservative continuum and the libertarian- authoritarian continuum.

I hope you understood me :)

Whatever, I would still keep my voice for Kerry. i thing he won't do any serious things: he will be still supporting Israeli Occupations, he will carry on Iraq War and the only thing he might change would be internal policies, that is zero interest for me. In resulot, outside countries will be a bit safer. What I want.

Who is voting for BUSH? Uneducated population, jews, right wingers, homos and some Republicans' fans ppl!!! Ppl, who are deceived!!!
Who is voting for KERRY? Mostly educated ppl, professors, teachers, students. Ppl who are concerned with the current USA economy. The most importan ppl who hate BUSH. Although, he was backing Nubya sexual discrimination against homos plans, his daughter publicly admitted that she is a lesbian. Kerry is not a persident (didn't have a chance), and people do not know what he is capable of. Bush in the other had, is a big Lolipop sucker, who clearly showed that he cannot lead the country. 2 reason? I am still working on it.

He, also, predicted that ppl from Ohio looking states, where mojority is easily persuasive, are believing 'Bush will save America from Terrorist' thoughts. Honestly, how a normal person can vote for Bush I simply can't understand. And, most who are voting for Bush are ppl of middleclass society with no enough education and who are 'concerned' about promised terror attacks.

That should be the result of BIG favour. The favour Bin Laden gifted to Bush. Bush should be very grateful if he gets the head of the country again. Bush should thank to BinLaden. So, now I am getting into BIG thought of BinLaden. 'Who' he might be?

Still, my hope is alive. I am for Kerry and hopefully Americans will do that.

President displays 'total Zen attitude' despite poll qualms
He promised this would be his last campaign - and he was determined to fight it hard to the bitter end. George Bush told aides that, win or lose, this would be the final time he sought public office and he was determined yesterday to leave nothing to chance.
Breaking the convention that election day should be free of campaigning, the president squeezed in one more stop - in the pivotal state of Ohio, without which no Republican has ever won the White House. Officially he was there to thank the volunteers, but few doubted that his real objective was to give the phenomenal get-out-the-vote drive an extra, presidential push.

Hey, sometimes I can be full of sarcasm and also can be pathetic. But if you cannot answer my questions why don't you just ignore them?

Low income? so according to Bush you are not going to get tax cut this year, how pitty. Maybe someday when a fat, dumb, full of inferiority man will become rich (maybe after he dies) everything will work out for him.

If Bush wins the election, it will be more hard life for Americans. They will have another 4 year of troubles and looses.

Good thing: It will be easy for EU to make their ties more fast. World will Unite just to avoid American Bush. Now, with the leading countries like France, Germany, Spain...etc EU is becoming more powerful and it is rapidly raising their reputation as well as land of law. America, will face serious problems in near future years. They have got now almost equal challenger in the world, EU. If bush is again on, Ameirba will start sinking.

Who is supporting Bush mostly? By what kind of preferances? Just interesting.

How would I or you know? tell me? We saw Bush and we know what he is capable of and we also know that this country is going down badly. Why not to give a chance to another person? Next presidential elections Bush is not going to be around. So what should we do? morn him and say "Oh, why we need a new president?"

The thing is, I am more worried about the Global issues rather than internal American. If Kerrry could took the Presidency he would defenitely stop dawdling around the world. He is not a man with fundamental religious ideologies. He is not as ignorant as Bush, and he is not as coward as Bush. Kerry has served the Army in Vietnam and knows how the war is, not like coward Bush who escaped Army in his younghood years. Kerry is more liberal, that will let other nations (including you) be part of American Society no metter what is your religion/ race/ preferences, etc. Would stop ignoring Golbal Warming Issue, he would sign Kyoto treaty.
This quote is from 2003 memos:
Recent actions and statements by the Bush Administration on global worming policy have alarmed many in the Oregon faith community. In recent days, the President has announced that he does not support the Kyoto global warming treaty, and has broken a campaign pledge to limit emissions of carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas, from power plants
