xbox advantages:

1. integrate hddisk 8 gb.
2. improved video graphics - nvidia
3. dvd playback.
4. song copying support.
5. xbox live support

disadvantages.

1. huge original controller
2. dvd playback u need to buy remote controller
3. not so many games available

ps2 disadvantages :

1. no harddisk, so you have to save on memory card
2. not improved video graphics(worse than x box)
3. no song copy support on harddisk

ps2 advantages :

1. small controller
2. dvd playback w/o remote
3. a lot of games
4. live support
and its sony :)

i had ps2 and xbox i think they are the same if u gonna take ones advantges and disadvantages and will compare it u will have the same result.

Also u can improve your xbox by modifying the motherboard.
After that u will be able to save all games onto harddisk, replace hddisk by more capacity hddisk, playback mp3,vcd, dvd, copy all of them onto hddisk and many more.

Definetely Xbox. Top games HALO, HALO2 (just got the second one....TO DIE FOR) Prince of Persia.

I would go for PS2. Lots of games are available nowadays first in PS2 console. Just new reborn PS2 consoles are quite comfortable and posh.

I personally have got PS2 and love it. DVD player, CD player, Gamestation and lots of entertainment. Love playing football games, mostly Pro-Evolution. Last realease, Pro-Evolution IV, is terrific game woth playing. You will never get enough of this game. Also, love Driv3r, Crash, Tomb Rider, 007, strategic games.

If you want to buy a console, i would recommend you PS2 Reborn Console with no any doubts.

You forgot to mention that 4 players can play a single game at the same time. Course If the game allows such capabilities.

The battle between XBOX and PS2 is almost over. the upcoming XBOX2 will definately be the ultimate game console you could ever buy.

I went for Xbox! After all what really matters playing a console game is the brilliance of graphics and the option of saving lots of games.
It is true that PS2 offers lots of games but I am not going to play all these games after all. I just need 10-15 good games to spend free time with friends :)
I already purchased Xbox, and like it. True, the controllers seems like a problem at the beginning, but getting used to!
Football Manager 2005 looks like a very fine game. I also have a racing game, and Hitman 2, lots of fun :)

Spoon, there are tremendous amounts of new, advanced weapons both for human race and for enemy. New weapons for men is :S2 AM Sniper Rifle. M90 Shotgun (advanced) Machine Guns are dual wield, M6C dual wield. Vehicles:
M41 LAAG It is like a Warthog vehile. uses chemical precussion to fire projectiles at a high rate of speed. M68 Cannon uses magnetic coil technology. Primitive but effective. Not effective against multiple ground forces, etc.

Surely Covenant weapons are superior: they tried to take the ideal weaponary of men kind and came up with some efficent open field and close combat fighing tools. Dual wield is aslo availabe in covenant weapons. Remember the ghosts? now they have more powerful vehicles like Banshee, Wraith, Spectre, Shadow, etc. We reserved one around like a 7 month ago and bought it right the first date it was in stores. It should be availabe for everyone in a week or so for I guess 50 dollars.

The only problem with human weapons was with the bullets, you would run out of them quickly. I didnt like the covenent weapons anyway.

Whatever we had in HALO we still have them. Both M12 Warthog LRV and M12G1 Warthog. One of the biggest advantages is that now you can use two weapons at the same time (or first one if you are our of armor you keep shooting with the second one right away). Remember how it used to take a while for soldiers reload thir guns? Now you can reload one gun while using another one.

IMHO, covenant weapons are okey (very okey especially new ones) I like them; I think they are the most efficiant weapons agains them themselves. I rather use covenant weapon when I am out of armor, instead of looking for it (of course if I am not fighing agains ghosts or hunter types) .

One more thing, GRAFIKASIGA gap yoq ;) Chief's shield is upgraded., too.

and you can build linux onto xbox, use it as computer whereever there is a tv, need some usb keyboard and mouse.

What a game! Its crazy!
I teamed up with my friends and our virtual allies agains aliens. And the game appeared to be so addictive, I did not even notice how 5 hours have passed...
Brilliant game. Absolutely best of the range.

I find it a little harder than first HALO...map is a little harder to remember and they have WIDE range of attackers (especially those mosquitos). I hate them. I barely stand a chance to win....let's see

The controller might be a little bulky mostly for people with small hands, usually girls. For those there are alternative controllers you can purchase. My hands are nowhere big, but the controller fits quite nicely and very comfrotably. Besides, Smilik has tiny hands, but plays HALO decently.

PS2 seems to have far more games available for its platform, but XBOX seems to be catching up.

the thing is that now i am afraid of getting any nearer to halo 2 during weekdays, because the next morning i have to call my boss saying that i am seriously sick and cant get out of my bed and take a day off to have enough sleep.
