Apple Macintosh Or Personal Computer based on Windows and/or other OS

I really like Apple Macintosh but im still using pc.
What do u think about this two computer systems ?
Which would you prefer or not ? Why ? And how much would you pay ?

Yep, good question. I also came to like Apple once I started using it (although I've used it only for 3 or so months). It's very gentle over PC for sure. You can get a great deal from Apple's main site on a pretty good laptop with various features if you log in as a student (they have discounts for college students smth around even $300!) But they say that the hard part with Apple is to get extra gadgets for it, it just would tear off your wallet. So just judge for yourself.
Btw, G5s are also very cooo-l so as laptops. Some good options there...

Yes Apple Operating System is based on Unix than Ms-dos . So what we know from that, its more reliable and steady. The latest Operating System known as Mac OS X panther has a lot of options and many user operational threads which makes it to compete with Windows Ms-dos based OS. But frankly speaking i love they way how they look, it gives them these extraordinary, we can say alienated looks that keeps your eyes on them. I love MAC, and i love PC. So i find this small software which allows u to run windows based software on Mac OS. How cool is that.
So im waiting for your reviews.
