В июле этого года строящийся небоскреб Burj Dubai стал самым высоким зданием в мире (до этого рекорд принадлежал 508-метровому небоскребу Taipei 101 в Тайпее). Предполагалось, что небоскреб в Дубаи будет еще долго удерживать заслуженный титул, но оказалось, что в соседнем Кувейте может появиться серьезный соперник — «Город шелка» с башней Burj Mubarak Al-Kabir высотой 1001 метр.

На этой неделе муниципальный совет Кувейта одобрил чертежи строительного проекта «Город Шелка» (Madinat Al-Hareer) площадью 250 кв. км, который появится прямо напротив столицы.

Весь проект предусматривает строительство на 200 гектарах пустыни аэропорта, делового центра, различных объектов здравоохранения, образования и промышленности. Соединять Эль-Кувейт и «Город Шелка» будет мост Jaber Al-Ahmed.
Башня Burj Mubarak Al-Kabir, высота которой составит 1001 метр, станет центральной частью проекта и, безусловно, гордостью всего Кувейта.

Весь проект потребует 86 миллиардов долларов и займет по времени 25 лет

Ha, hali umuman tarjima qilinmagan. Bugun to'la tarjima qilib bo'lsam kerak. Lekin shablonlar masalasida juda ham 'strange' muammolar yuzaga keldi...

Qaysi shablonni activate qilmay, ma'lum vaqt o'tgandan keyin Default shablonga o'tib qolaverdi. 1 oydan beri shu muammo. Default shablonni o'chirib tashlasam, umuman hech qanday shablon tanlanmagandek turdi va blog umuman ochilmadi. Axiri o'zim hohlagan shablonni o'zini qoldirib, nomini Default deb o'zgartirdim. Mana shundan keyin yuqoridagi muammo hal bo'lganga o'xshab turibdi.

On computers board, particularly in Warez&Web design sections, many people cannot properly ask questions for help. And if they don't get reply within 24 hours, they start a big panic and cry to the whole forum. But users who get reply or probably a solution, don't check back to say so. Letting know about a solution worked will help other users with similar problems too.

The same thing can be observed in Problems&Soltuions board. Users are too lasy to search or learn themselves. They want everything to be done for them. If they don't know about any forum function, they don't open forum FAQ (http://forum.arbuz.com:81/faq.php) and learn about that. They better open a thread and ask others. When users have a problem on forum, they don't describe the problem's syptoms or don't post informative explanation but they post their guesses instead.

Actually, I prefer not warning or banning users for above mentioned actions. I don't try to bump users warning points and get rid of him for such mistakes. But when it comes to computer boards, there should be applied some forum etiquette. Maybe in other boards too, I can't say. Everyone who help other users spend time to answer in best and polite way as possible. And I think they deserve the same action towards themselves. If a user is too lazy to spend some time to work on his request-thread and publish it as much informative as it should be, other helper users may be lazy to answer too.

I was going to welcome UzLand but by the time I get to this thread (http://forum.arbuz.com:81/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=45508) he was banned again.

I just remember the last time when he was banned, there were a lot of buzz in the forum on his defence(in good meaning of this word). After a lot of discussions and debates, some users with loosy mood were even counting UzLand's returning days.

But this time there's no shout and cry about this yet. I don't want to say it's bad or not, but if anyone is going to clarify the reason and the truth behind this, I think many things will swim out.

You better ask Asadbek if he has a personal problem with UzLand or not. I'm not sure about their relationships.

From the one side, it's obviously clear that Asadbek as Forum Admin has banned UzLand with the reason "defamation/Клевета" which counts as 3 warning points. I'm not going to discuss wether he was just or not, this is a different talk and I don't want to be involved. What I was going to state is he got only 3 warning points and got banned. In this case I think his old warning points also helped in order to get "enough" warning points to get banned. As far as I understand(it should be) after the ban period, a user returns and his old warning points should be removed, or at least, shouldn't affect to post-banned period. If a user gets enough warning points again(12 or something) then it's okay to ban. This is my personal opinion and misunderstandings maybe.

I've asked the Forum admins to clarify the Non-removable warning(wtf is this?) stuff and overall ban periods. Let's see.

UzLand-2 thread closed. UzLand permanently banned. No clarifications made. Welcome to arbuz forum :)

I think this is one of latest chances of Admins on this forum. Because soon there will be posted rules regarding the ban period(I hope). After that, noone can prolong the ban period or change it to permanant ban.

I say again, old warning points of a user - for which a user got punished - shouldn't be counted after the punishment expires, those warning points should be removed. So, it's up to you to make a decision who was right or wrong.

And also, If anyone remembers, there was a talk about the Forum Council who decides wether to ban a user or not - as you can see now, this is a BULLSHIT. Well, I supposed to think that there were no such Council and now I know I was right. This is not because I've finished watching The Illusionist movie recently, no. This is because you can prove it yourself, if you need this.

You guys need to address it in Moders Board and sort it out. Actually, I'm expressing my own opinion and I don't want to urge every user that I'm the one who knows everything. I'm posting my ideas, it's up to you, forum users to decide what is right and what it wrong.

As you have noticed, now we've some new cool features in our forum. I'm not going to debate wether it's bad or not to have such new functionalities time by time, I just want to draw your attention to one of those features - post rating.

At the top of each post there is a new tool - thumbs up & down buttons to rate a specific post. As far as I understood, when a post gets some amount of negative(thumbs down) rating it just doesn't show up among other posts, instead you will see a note which explains that post got some negative rating from users that's why it doesn't deserve your attention. But still, you can expand such "bumped-down" threads manually. Now it's clear with the "thumbs down".

How about it's pair, a thumbs up button? I've used this button several times, and the only thing that I see is just amount of hit numbers displayed like +2. That's it. What if a post gets, let's say +100 rating? This is not clear yet. But the most interesting point is that anyone can bump his post by clicking multiple times to the "thumbs up" button. Yes, the author of a post can also rate his own post :) At least, I can do it :) See the screenshot below:

I noticed one bad thing about this particular infraction in rating posts. Whoever does not like the user is giving thumbs down, hence you cannot see the post until you collapse it. Which I find a little annoying. Don't you think so?

I haven't tried using it with threads though. That would be more useful for threads than posts but then who knows...

I think desktop is better than laptop. Why?

a) Dekstop can be upgraded/modified gradually without any worries. Laptops can not.
b) Desktop supports CRT monitor. Laptop does not.

These are the most important points for me, that's why I've ordered a desktop.

Moderatorlar boardi'da so'ralgan ba'zi-bir savollarga administratsiyadan umuman javob bo'lmagan, juda ham uzoq muddat davomida desam ham bo'ladi. Shuning uchun hech bo'lmasa o'zimni blogimda yozaychi degandim, mana adminlardan biriga yetib boribdi. Effekt bo'ldi deya olmayman, albatta. Chunki hali ham o'sha "kosyak" mavjud.

Bir ahmoq, konditsionerini balkonidan tashqariga shunday chiqarganki, roppa-rosa odamlar o'tadigan yo'lakka suvi oqadi. Shuni balkonni yon tarafiga o'rnatsa, yoki shlangini o'sha tarafga qaratib qo'ysa ham bo'lardi... lekin atayin qilganday mana shunday qilib o'rnatgan. Har kuni o'sha yerdan o'taman va har doim suv oqayotgan bo'ladi. Har safar ichimda so'kib o'taman, so'kkanda ham shunaqa so'kamanki... asta qo'yaverasiz.

Тоже недавно установил версию 3. Обычно Mozilla Firefox всегда оповещает о наличии хоть маленького апдейта или плагина, когда я запускаю браузер. Прочел в новостях о выходе версии 3 и только потом сам зашел на офф. сайт и скачал последнюю версию.
