37 people arrested by police outside Uzbek embassy

London -- British police said they had arrested 37 people outside the Uzbek embassy in London yesterday following a demonstration against the reported killing of hundreds of protestors by Uzbek forces.

Around 40 people gathered outside the embassy in Holland Park, a plush part of west London, yesterday lunchtime, the spokesman for London's Metropolitan Police said.

"During the demonstration paint was daubed on the outside of the embassy building," he said.

"Thirty-seven people have been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage. They are currently in custody at various west London police stations. None of the demonstrators gained access to the building."

"This protest is to expose the tyranny of the Uzbek regime and the hypocrisy of western governments in upholding the Uzbek regime." Imran Waheed told to Britain's Press Association news agency.

As long as "islamists" (there is no such word in Islam, it is only muslims and nonmuslims, but if you want to use that word which were introduced by westren anti-islamic people then use it) rule on laws based on shariah, i.e. according to shariah (the main sources of which are Qur'an and Sunnah-Hadis), PLEASE, refer to these sources on each your statement, give proofs from them, not from Karimov or Bush's statements, not from what did Taliban and Namanganiy.
So, the questions to answer are:
1. Where it is written that Islam government kills or exciles everybody who is not muslim? In Qur'an? In Hadis?
2. Where it is written that Islam does not let science to flourish? In Qur'an? In Hadis? Anywhere else???
3. Where does it say that muslim government punishes people without prosecuting, without investigation, without witnesses?
4. What aspect, what side of the shariah, which laws of shariah prohibits or blocks the technological and other development?
5. What exact threats do you see to your security from the shariah laws? (pls give proofs that this threat comes from shariah laws, not as you guess or think)

And etc. You can answer only to the questions which you want or can answer. Later I can give some examples why Islamic government is better than any other type of ruling.

Hi People, Sorry for my absence for a while, I have been banned from forum for spamming. So, regarding the protest it is going to be on Saturday 21 May in front of the Uzbek embassy at 12 pm. As far as I have been told ny the organisers some press people will hopefully attend. And surely this event has to draw positive attantion from the British and international public. Therefore, please refrain from aggressive behaviour. I understand your present sentiments, however such actions just provide more hostility from the target group. Thank you all for your support and your precious opinions. Looking forward to seeing as many of you able to participate as possible. The protest organased by Party of Liberation(HUT) has nothing to do with upcoming event; it is going to be definitely non religious or any other view oriented. So the protest and patriotic uzbeks were there. There by the Uzbek embassy in Holland park. There were about 40 people, who peacefully protested against the ruling regime. And of course there were some unhappy points; as the demonstrators gathered in front of the building, as normal and always for our government our "patriotic" diplomats started taking everything and everyone into the videocamera. And they called the police unit to monitor this event. However, there was a nice thing - british police stood by the protesters - by law diplomats were not allowed to shoot the demonstrations/protests/any events outside the embassy into videocamera. That was kool;therefore they have(or should not) have anything against the protesters. Diplomats were there a little while, after they escaped in the embassy van. How cowardly - they could not take it. There were people from BBC Uzbek service(so check bbc uzbek out for the interviews) and above all the former ambassador Craig Murray was present. It was a nice peaceful demonstration, but the weather was typical british. Never mind. So, I am glad that this day was marked with simultaneous protests around the world: Moscow, Ankara and Istanbul.

Plus, he has no more respect among Asian-Muslims (Bangladeshis, Pakistanis and Co). Knowing the regime in those places he has never critisized the current govs. During this year's election he has lost some votes due to this. (IMHO) He is not a good politician among british muslims anymore.
