Resident, if they open an account at NBU and I send in $ do they recieve in $ or uzb sum? and do they have to pay any thing also? and does NBU have cash allways, I mean, is NBU relaible and doesn`t delay payments? did you try it?
Thanks in advance,

I've sent money to my bro., who is in Tash. He opened a US dollar account at NBU (I think only one branch of NBU offers whis service). So when I send money to him, he gets it in US dollars, as well. NBU is reliable in the sense that he's always been able to withdraw the money within 1-3 days.
NBU charges a (very) small fee for wire transfers, though. The exact fee depends on the amount you send, and I think varies between 0.2 - 0.5 %.
So if I send $2000, my bank charges $15 for the transfer and NBU charges up to $10 (0.5%). My bro then gets about $ 1970 (he leaves some money in his account). So the total fees for a $2000 transfer are about $30, which is less than what Western Union charges. Obviously, your savings increase as you send more money.

Well, You can easily get an answer from NBU (http://www.nbu.com)itself, anyways, let me tell some ideas from my own experience ;)

Demak,

Agar sizning yaqinlaringiz NBU dan(yoki boshqa tijorat banklaridan) hisob raqami ochishsa, bu hisob raqamlar mijozning(tanishlaringiz) istagiga ko'ra milliy valyuta (so'm) yoki xorijiy valyutada ochiladi. ( "Valyutniy schyot" deyishadi o'zlaricha). Ayni kunda AQSh dollari ommaviy tus olgan valyuta turi hisoblanadi va sizning chet eldan yuborayotgan pulingiz O'zbekistondagi bankka AQSh dollari hisobida yotqiziladi.

Banklar bu turdagi hisob raqamli mijozlariga hamma vaqt kamchiliksiz xizmat ko'rsatadi. Har bir pul echimi "operaciyasi" uchun $2 miqdorida xizmat haqi ushlab qolinadi.

2002 yillarda hisob raqamingizdagi pulingizdan bir kunda $20.000 dan ortiq miqdorda pul olmoqchi bo'lsangiz 2 kun oldin xabar berishingiz iltimos(talab) qilinardi.

$3.000-$5.000 lar esa umuman muammosiz xushmuomalalik bilan sharaqlatib sanab beriladi.(berilmoqda)

Kasbi koringizga baraka. ;)

In Europe we use "Anelek" (russian money transfer agency), the payment 3% of a total money which are transfered by this agency.
You can find the adresses of the "Anelik" in USA, if you are interested in this money transfer, of course!

Yes I did try that one! If you want you can get money in US dollar or if you want they can convert dollar to So`m! And about payments you should waite little bit like if you send money(wire transfer) today it takes to get to UZB 3-4 days then you should waite usually 4-5 days more deal is that it does not matter how much amount you send and you still pay about $20 for transfer!
Almost forgot NBU also has some charges but it is about $1-2 per transaction!
