Hi everyone,
I would like to ask any information about scholarships or Financial Aid for us, Central Asian people. I've been trying to search in Internet, but to be able to apply for scholarship, you need, actually, be enrolled into that University. May be any of you know any sites or links that are helpful.
Thanks in advance

there are tons of them, but scholarships are usually ver competetive and hard to get, but you never no so give a go!!!!
ps: not sure if it's the right one, but I'll paste later(hozir vaqt yuk)
What kind of scholarships are you looking for? For graduate studies or undergraduate? Generally, it is almost impossible to study on scholarships in public universities. Thus, those students who normally want to have a "free ride" apply to competitive private universities (obviously, you have got to have the "right" credentials to get in) or small private colleges (LAC, also known as) that offer great deals of financial aid to international students, but are not as well known with some exceptions. Hope it helps.
Hint: Do not look for scholarships, rather look for colleges that offer financial aid to international students.

Since author of thread didn't specify the country to study for, I'll answer for Japan - it is totally opposite to what WASP says.
Here, in general, public (national) universities have much more scholarships available than private universities for both foreign and Japanese students. In situations when comission of any scholarship offered by corporation selects candidates, (pri prochih ravnih usloviyah) they will in 80% of situations give priority to students enrolled in public (national) universities.
