The US Embassy in Turkmenistan organized the forum titled “Civil society and the role of international programs” attended by representatives from the Turkmen ministries, departments and other state institutions, public and international organizations as well as foreign legal experts.
The main focus of the statements by the officers of international organizations accredited to Turkmenistan as OSCE, IOM, UNICEF, UNHCR at the conference are the aspects of ensuring social and legal protection of citizens, their participation in the public and business life of the state.
Presentation of educational programs in the sphere of civil society development was also made in the conference framework.
