It looks like Colorado is one of the easiest states, wich has no 150 credit hour requirement and has only one year public accounting experience in order to get both certificate and license.

I have 144 credit hours,looks like this makes me ineligible for CPA.Ridiculous!

Al-Midwest,

There is no set rule that says finance majors are inelegible for CPA. If you have a certain amount of credit hours in Accounting and depending on a state how many hours you have earned there shouldn't be any problem. IMHO. But still talk to the Acct department at your Uni as far as regulations differ across the states.
However, if you are not going to pursue public accounting, if you are more likely into the Fiannce, CPA wouldn't help you that much.

Bratan, don't take it then in Atlanta. Try other states with flexible requirements if you are not gonna stay in "Alana" your whole life and if you really need one.
