What do you think about his ideas? How do you differentiate delusion from non-delusion?

I can't understand why you ever read such things.
How about I will give you an EXAMPLE 4?
Example 4:
1 billion years ago there was raw metal under the soil
over 1 billion of years time metal started changing its physical characterstics
by the time 1 billion years passed the raw metal formed the Eifel Tower exactly in Paris, France.
Doesn't it sound like a Sci-Fi story ;)?
So how about: There was NOTHING than suddenly BIG BANG (from where Big Bang? Energy could not be lost according to E=mc^2 it just changes it's form so according it could not be FORMED from out of nowhere) and than we have our Universe than our Solar system than Earth than Chimps than Human kind etc ...
I think the above story could be a good candidate for "THE BEST SCI-FI AWARDS" :)
It is delightful to see such a great educator to be involved into a very explosive yet very important issue of religion. You work presents a great accomplishment that will free many young Americans of religious dogmas and pave a way for a better society.
That is a strong ARGUMENT you have made. I would love to see FACTS to support your ARGUMENT :)

Science does not answer "WHY" question, it answers "HOW" question. Scientiests work every day to build a better model for every single process we observe.
Your argument is like "How come is Earth round? Everybody will be falling down if it were round, therefore Earth is flat and it once more confirms Bible/Quran/Tora".
So, do you find the story about Santa delusional or you don't?
Plz, stick to the topic.

P.S. regarding the metal: People discovered metallurgy thousands of years ago, and Eifel Tower was an engineering marvel developed thanks to struggle to limit powers of Catholic Church and liberate science and arts from tight grip of Vatican.

Delf,
The guy has funny reasoning built on a bunch of assumptions, simplification and judgment on smb’s behalf. If you take those assumptions, judgments and simplifications away, his reasoning will fall to pieces. At least to my mind.
Basically, I see a number of flows in his reasoning:
He bases his reasoning on the assumption that if something does not exist now or current technology cannot produce something similar then it’s false, therefore delusional – i.e. if told that people can see each other from distances through the mirror and talk (videoconferencing) couple centuries ago, it would be perceived “delusional” even if it is not (example 1).
Statement: If you cannot scientifically prove, then by default it’s disproved. Assumption: In this, he assumes science as something magic “answer all” thing, whereas it’s just the product of the human brain/logic and could be subject to flow easily, i.e. if science is not able to prove it now, it does mean that science cannot prove it now – that’s it. Example 2.
Assumption: if one does not believe to something then that thing is delusional.
Assumption: religions think of others as delusional. I am a Muslim, and I don’t think of Jews or Christians as of delusional. I don’t know people of other religions who think so. People might not agree with the specific rules or don’t like them, but never think of all the religion as a delusional/false. I think. Example 2.
Assumption: prayers should be answered, answered immediately and positively; a simple experiment.
Simplification in all of the examples that distorts to his advantage;By Marshall Brain: http://whydoesgodhateamputees.com/your-delusion.htm
