assalamu alaikum,
i see, that physician's work environment, is that how to study physical environments, analyse it, to investigate the governing laws and to put these studies to help and develop humanity, and that requires several types of information you have mentioned before, so that you can understand both, the nature , and the human .
may be i wrong, but that was my idea in that topic
and thank u very much

Every professional dealing with people and especially physicians have a very big responsibility towards human kind. A good physician should be very knowledgable and intellectual person who is able to evaluate the patient's not only physical condition but also mental. Therefore it is imperative to study humanities and social sciences, in addition to the natural sciences in order to achieve all around background and ability to properly understand and evaluate every patient.
Good luck ;)

Here is my take:
OUTLINE for necessity to be familiar with social sciences
1) causes of illness
people get ill not only because of a physical condition but also due to emotional and mental stress.
2) advantages during diagnostics
a social profile of a patient can tell you a lot or at lease narrow down your choices during diagnostics. also you will be able to correctly ask question depending on patient's social profile.
3) targeted prescirption
Depending on habits of certain professions or communities you may or may not prescribe certain treatments. E.g. some medication that has pork fat may not be a good prescription for certain communities.
4) trust with a patient
Social sciences, especially psychology can teach you a lot about type of personalities. Once you know an approximate psychological profile of your patient you will be able to establish trust. You will know how to extract info from the patient, how to communicate certain messages. etc.

I very much agree. For instance, a pediatrician may have impeccable training and skills as a physician, but if he doesn't relate well to children, he simply isn't going to be as effective as one who does relate well to children.
Also, understanding different cultures and religions is very, very important when dealing with people. How different cultures view their own bodies and what each finds acceptable may vary greatly. A physician who doesn't understand this is not going to be able to help his patient as best he could.
Being able to read when a patient is uncomfortable is extremely important and can tell a physician a lot. A good example might be with child abuse. If a child has a completely illogical reaction to something seemingly benign, an astute person wouldn't just dismiss it but would probably investigate further to find the underlying cause.
