Glimpse of Paradise

Assalamu alaykum,
I'd like to share with you an article which depicts the life in Paradise using both Quran and Hadith as the source. I found it very beneficial and wanted to share it with you all.

I will like to begin my topic by quoting a hadith reported in Imam Bukhari’s (ra) sahih to illustrate the discussion between the two abodes and its purpose behind their existance.

“Paradise and the Fire (Hell) argued, and the Fire (Hell) said, 'I have been given the privilege of receiving the arrogant and the tyrants.' Paradise said, 'What is the matter with me? Why do only the weak and the humble among the people enter me?' On that, Allah said to Paradise, 'You are My Mercy which I bestow on whoever I wish of my servants.' Then Allah said to the (Hell) Fire, 'You are my (means of) punishment by which I punish whoever I wish of my slaves. And each of you will have its fill.' As for the Fire (Hell), it will not be filled till Allah puts His Foot over it whereupon it will say, 'Qati! Qati!' At that time it will be filled, and its different parts will come closer to each other; and Allah will not wrong any of His created beings. As regards Paradise, Allah will create a new creation to fill it with.”

[b]Reality of Jannah

Unimaginable: "Allah says: I have readied for my righteous servants such provision which the eye has never seen, the ear has never heard of, the human mind has never imagined of" [Muslim]

100 Levels: There are 100 levels (storeys) in Jannah that Allah has created for those who strive in His path and the distance between each of these is similar to that between the earth and the sky; (therefore). Whenever you ask Jannah of Allah, ask for Jannatul- Firdaus because it is the highest and focal point of Jannah. Upon it is the Arsh of Allah and in it is the source of the rivers of Jannah. "The people of Paradise will look at the dwellers of the lofty mansions (i.e. a superior place in Paradise) in the same way as one looks at a brilliant star far away in the East or in the West on the horizon; all that is because of their superiority over one another (in rewards)." On that the people said, "O Allah's Apostle! Are these lofty mansions for the prophets which nobody else can reach? The Prophet replied," No! "By Allah in whose Hands my life is, these are for the men who believed in Allah and also believed in the Apostles." [Bukhari] "Rise to enter Paradise whose width is equal to the Heavens and the Earth." [Muslim]

Tents, Thrones, Gardens, Utensils, Rivers and Trees: "In Paradise there is a tent made of a single hollow pearl sixty miles wide, in each corner of which there are wives who will not see those in the other corners; and the believers will visit and enjoy them. And there are two gardens, the utensils and contents of which are made of silver; and two other gardens, the utensils and contents of which are made of so-and-so (i.e. gold) and nothing will prevent the people staying in the Garden of Eden from seeing their Lord except the curtain of Majesty over His Face." [Bukhari] Sayhan, Jayhan, Euphrates and Nile are all among the rivers of Paradise. [Muslim] "In Paradise there is a tree which is so big that a rider can travel in its shade for one hundred years without passing it; and if you wish, you can recite [Bukhari]

[b]First Person to Enter
“On the day of Qiyamah I will wish to open the doors of Jannah. The doorkeeper will say to me; Who are you? I will reply: Muhammad. He will then say: I have been commanded to open the doors for you alone. I will not open the door for anyone before you. [Muslim]

Last Person to Enter
"I know the person who will be the last to come out of the (Hell) Fire, and the last to enter Paradise. He will be a man who will come out of the (Hell) Fire crawling, and Allah will say to him, ‘Go and enter Paradise.’ He will go to it, but he will imagine that it had been filled, and then he will return and say, ‘O Lord, I have found it full.’ Allah will say, ‘Go and enter Paradise, and you will have what equals the world and ten times as much (or, you will have as much as ten times the like of the world).’ On that, the man will say, ‘Do you mock at me (or laugh at me) though You are the King?" I saw Allah’s Apostle (while saying that) smiling that his premolar teeth became visible. It is said that will be the lowest in degree amongst the people of Paradise. “The lowest of people in status in Paradise will be a man whose face Allah turns away from the Fire towards Paradise, and shows him a tree giving shade. He will say, ‘O Lord, bring me closer to that tree so that I may be in its shade… Then he will enter his house [in Paradise] and his two wives from among al-hoor al-‘iyn will come in and will say to him, ‘Praise be to Allah who brought you to life for us and brought us to life for you.’ Then he will say, ‘No one has been given what I have been given.’” [Muslim]

[b]First Group to Enter The first group to enter Jannah will have illuminated faces like the full moon; Those to follow them will have shining faces like stars of the sky; They will not urinate or defecate there, nor will they spit or need to blow their noses; They will have combs of gold; Their perspiration will have the fragrance of musk; They will have "Oode-Hindi" (a type of fragrant wood) as a fumigant; They will have beautiful, big-eyed damsels as their wives; Their behaviour and character will be uniform; They will resemble their progenitor, Adam (as) in height. "Verily! 70,000 or 700,000 of my followers will enter Paradise altogether; so that the first and the last amongst them will enter at the same time, and their faces will be glittering like the bright full moon." [Bukhari]

[b]The lowest and the highest in Jannah
“Musa (as) enquired from Allah Ta'ala: Who will be the lowest Jannati? He replied: The person who will reach Jannah after everyone else had entered therein. It will be said to him: You may enter now. He will say: O Lord! how can I, now that the people have occupied all the space and claimed all it's possessions? It will be said to him: Does it please you that you will be granted a kingdom equal to the kingdom of a worldly king? He will reply: I am satisfied. It will then be said to him: You will be granted this and so much more and so much more and so much more. At the fifth time, he will exclaim: O my Lord! I am pleased with this much! Allah Ta'ala will then say to him: You will be granted this much and tenfold more and you will be granted that which your heart desires and that which pleases your eye! He will reply: O my Lord! I am well-pleased. Thereafter Musa (as) enquired regarding the highest Jannati? It was replied: He will be my chosen and beloved one. I have prepared all honour and status for him and set a seal upon it; I have prepared that which no eye has observed, no ear has ever heard and no mind has ever perceived.” [Muslim]

Reality of the Inhabitants of Paradise

No Waste or Suffering: “The inmates of Paradise would eat and drink but would neither spit, nor pass water, nor void excrement, nor suffer catarrh. [Muslim]

Everlasting Youth, Prestige and Beauty: “He who would get into Paradise (would be made to enjoy such an everlasting) bliss that he would neither become destitute, nor would his clothes wear out, nor his youth would decline” [Muslim]. There would be an announcer (in Paradise) who would make this announcement: Verily! there is in store for you (everlasting) health and that you should never fall ill and that you live (forever) and do not die at all. And that you would remain young and never grow old. And that you would always live in affluent circumstances and never become destitute, as words of Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, are: "And it would be announced to them: This is the Paradise. You have been made to inherit it for what you used to do." [Muslim]

Hairless and Young:"The inhabitants of Paradise will enter Paradise hairless, beardless with their eyes anointed with collyrium, aged thirty or thirty-three years."[Tirmidhi]

Wearing Bracelets and Silk:Truly, Allah will admit those who believe (in tawhid ) and do righteous good deeds, to Gardens underneath which rivers flow (in Paradise), wherein they will be adorned with bracelets of gold and pearls and their garments therein will be of silk. [Qur’an 22: 23]

No ill feeling in their breast and they will be on thrones:“Truly! The Muttaqun will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). (It will be said to them): 'Enter therein (Paradise), in peace and security.' "And We shall remove from their breasts any sense of injury (that they may have), (So they will be like) brothers facing each other on thrones.” [Qur’an 15: 45-47]

Be Joyful and have fruits of every kind: Verily, the dwellers of the Paradise, that Day, will be busy in joyful things. They and their wives will be in pleasant shade, reclining on thrones. They will have therein fruits (of all kinds) and all that they ask for. [Qur’an 36: 55-57]

Be served and will not feel any agony: “In the Gardens of delight (Paradise)… They will be served by immortal boys, With cups, and jugs, and a glass from the flowing wine, Where from they will get neither any aching of the head, nor any intoxication” [Qur’an 56: 12 -19]

Not hear any false talk: “In the Gardens of delight (Paradise)… No Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk) will they hear therein, nor any sinful speech (like backbiting, etc.). But only the saying of: Salam!, Salam!”. [Qur’an 56: 12-26]

Abide therein forever with peace and security: “Enter you therein in peace and security; this is a Day of eternal life!" There they will have all that they desire, and We have more” [Qur’an 50: 34-35]

Be given more power to enjoy the pleasures with their wives: “The believer will be given great sexual potency in Jannah. He will be granted potency equal to that of a hundred men” [Bukhari]. “The person that enters Jannah will be in perpetual Pleasures, Never will he be afflicted in anyway, Nor will his clothing wear away and Never will he loose his youth. [Muslim]

Their wives will sing melodiously: “The women of Jannah will sing so melodiously for their husbands, that the human ear has never heard such melody. Amongst their songs will be the following verses: "We are the chosen beauties, Wives of most honourable husbands, Who look with the coolness of eyes, Who are perpetual, never dying, Who are chaste, never feared, Ever present, never absent." [Bukhari]

Gatherings in the pond of Kauthar with the Rasulillah (saws): Do you know what is "Hauze-Kauthar" (The pond of Kauthar)? It is a pond granted to me by my Rabb in Jannah It will be very blessed, My Ummah will gather at it to meet me, It's cups equal the stars in quantity” [Bukhari]

Gatherings in Markets: “There will be a marketplace in Jannah, where the people of Jannah will gather every Friday. A fantastic breeze will blow and sprinkle splendour upon their faces and clothing; as a result, they will look even more beautiful and attractive than before. When their wives will see them in this splendid condition, they will exclaim: By Allah! You look more handsome than when you departed from us. They will reply: Even your beauty has increased greatly” [Muslim]

Delf, bu forumga kirishingizni hech kim yomon demaydi, shunchaki JUST birodarimizni diniy e'tiqodini mazah qilganday bulaganingiz yahshimas. Bu forumga sizni ham kirishingiz albatta yahshi, chunki bu bahs va munozaralar orqali hammamiz bilmagan narsamizni urganimiz va fikrlar bilan almashamiz. Shu faqat bir iltimos, boshqalarni uz deiniga bulgan ishonch va e'tiqodlarini ozgina hurmat qilsangiz manimcha hamma hursand.....

Shogird please don't get me wrong, and I am sorry for this reply because obviously your post is not directed to me, but I got to say this... Probably you don't care about my believe, but I believe that you lost the best gift (A light of Islam, as you said that you use to be a muslim). It is a joy for you because you believe that you found the right path. I personally respect your believe, but it is sad for me as I said that you lost the whole purpose of life (worshiping the One, Al-Mighty God, and not making others equal to him). And now I think that you are trying to pull with yourself other brothers who I believe still understands a little bit the purpose of their creation (Allah says in Al-Qur'an that he created man and jinn for only one purpose to worship him alone). You know that the majority users of this forum are muslims, and I would really apreciate if you do not post your missionery posts (probably you don't care about it, but still I want you to understand and don't do mischief among the believers). Don't get me wrong, and I am not afraid that someone will get converted to your Chrsitian relegion (everybody who has a strong emaan knows that they are on the right path).
Christians, Jews all of them called "People of the Book", but I don't think that current Christians and Jews can be called "People of The Book". People of the Book lived in the time of our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Right now majority of these people who call themselves Christian and Jews don't know their real relegion, they do not practise the way that their forfathers did and they do the acts which has been forbiddin in their Holy Books. I am saying all these because I too have studied the Bible, Torah and the history of these relegions....

(Are those who enjoy all this) like those who are immortal in the Fire and are given boiling water to drink so that it teareth their bowels? ) SURAT MOHAMMED (AYET 15)

3- (Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. ) SURAT AL-DUKHAN (AYET 54)

4- (Reclining on ranged couches. And we wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. ) SURAT AT-TOOR (AYET 20)

5- ([12] In Gardens of Bliss:

[13] A number of people from those of old,

[14] And a few from those of later times.
15] (They will be) on Thrones encrusted (with gold and precious stones),

[16] Reclining on them, facing each other.

[17] Round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness),

[18] With goblets, (shining) beakers, and cups (filled) out of Clear-flowing fountains:

[19] No after-ache will they receive therefrom, nor will they suffer intoxication:

[20] And with fruits, any that they may select;

[21] And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire.

[22] And (there will be) Companions with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes,

[23] Like unto Pearls well-guarded. )

SURAT AL-WAQEA'AH (AYET 12-23)



BUT ALL OF US MUST SAY TO HIM/HER SELF, WHAT AM I DO TO CATCH THAT HIGH GRADE ????

AND QURAN SAID IN THIS OCCASION ,

1- (Or think ye that ye will enter paradise while yet there hath not come unto you the like of (that which came to) those who passed away before you? Affliction and adversity befell them, they were shaken as with earthquake, till the messenger (of Allah) and those who believed along with him said: When cometh Allah's help? Now surely Allah's help is nigh. )
SURAT AL-BAQARAH (AYET 214)

2- (Or deemed ye that ye would enter paradise while yet Allah knoweth not those of you who really strive, nor knoweth those (of you) who are steadfast? ) SURAT ALI-EMRAN (AYET 142)

AND BEFORE ANY PRISE, THERE STILL GREAT WORK ON THE SAME DEGREE OF THAT PARADISE .

Odamlarni esida yaxshi inson bolib qolish, umr davrida yaxshilik qilish, shular emasmi hayot mazmuni?

Mening uchun hayot mazmuni jannat uchun ballar yeg'ish emas. Yoki bu hayotni narigi dunyo deb yashash emas. Mazmun - bu hayotni yaxshi yashash va boshqalarga yaxshi yashash uchun umkoniyat yaratishdir.

Afsus ba'zi bir insonlarning ertaklarga haddan tashqari ishonib o'sha ertaklarga ko'ra boshqa odamlarni hayotini borshqarmoqchi bolishi kop odamlarni, shahsan meni hayotimni istaganday yashashga qoymaidi.

Bitta narsani tushunishimiz kerak , qilayotgan ibodatlar HUR uchun emas, Allah uchub bolishi kerak , faqat va faqat rayatganga ibodat qaratilgan bolishi kerak. Hur-ni Allah misol qilib keltirdi , mana shunaqa "Mukofotlar" bor degan maqsadda wallahialam, lekin HURga erishaman deb ibodatda bolish , yaramaydi!!!!
P.S Hur zori maniki bolarkan deb namoz uqish togri kemidi , yoki hurni yoshlarini olarkanman deb , niyat qilib yurish xam !! ;)

When you die, you die. You do not go to paradise or hell.
You die. Simple and true.

Umr bir kuni tugaydi afsus, hozirgacha odamzod bu muammoni echisga ojiz bo'lgan.

Lekin mening oilashim boyicha odamzod hozir umrni cheksiz qilish jarayonida turibti. Odam tanasini karish processlarini vaqt kelganda orqaga qaytarish mumkin boladi deb ishonaman. Ushbu narsa 40-50 ichida erishiladi bazi prognozlarga kora.

Faraz qiling, yoshingiz 500 bolsa ham yosh yigit kabi yuraverasiz. Mazzamasmi? :)

Nuh payg'ambarni umrlari taxminan ming yil bo'lgan deyishadi. o'sha Alloh tarafidan tanlangan zot bir umr qamishga o'xshash amonat narsalardan qurilgan hujrada yashagan ekanlar. 500 yoshga yetganlarida o'g'illari "Ota, keling sizga mustahkam g'ishtlardan uy qurib beraylik" deyishganda
"Ee, nima qilasizlar ovora bo'lib? umrni yarmi o'tib ketdiku. 500 yil uchun arzimaydi " degan ekanlar.

umrimiz 5000 yil bo'lganda ham birkuni oxirgi kunimizni yashashimiz muqarrarligining o'zi har qanday mazzani uchirvorsa kerak.:)

Bunaqa odam kofir bo'lishini Delf yaxshi biladi, shuning uchun o'zini musulmon deb atayotgani ham yo'q, aksincha, shunday e'tiqodli musulmonlarni cho'pchakka ishonib yurgan insonlar deb atayapti, balki ichida musulmonlarga achinib ham qo'yayotgandir.
