THE PILGRIMAGE TO MECCA



Hajj is one of the five fundamental pillars of Islam. The religion attains its maturity by its performance. Almighty Allah requires in the holy Qur“an:
„Pilgrimage thereto is a duty men owe to Allah, those who can afford the journey; but if any deny faith, Allah stands not in need of any of His creatures.“ (Al´ Imrân: 97)

„And proclaim among the people the pilgrimage! They will come to you, on foot and on lean camels, coming from every deep ravine.“ (Hajj: 27)

Muhammad the Messenger of Allah declares:
„O men! Allah orders you to perform the pilgrimage. Therefore go on pilgrimage.“

„Go on pilgrimage. Because as water removes filth, pilgrimage purifies a man“s sins.

Allah the Most High states the superiority of Mecca:
„Allah has appointed the Ka“ba, the Sacred House, a standard for mankind.“ (Mâ´ida: 97)

„(O Muhammad, say:„I am commanded only to serve the Lord of this land which He has hallowed, and unto whom all things belong.“ (Naml: 91)

Almighty Allah declares the grace of Ka´ba:
„The first House (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakka, full of blessing and of guidance for all kinds of beings. In it are signs manifest; the station of Abraham. Whoever enters it attains security.“ (Al“ Imrân: 96:97)

„And we made the House (the Holy Ka“ba at Mecca) a place of assembly for mankind and a place of safety.“ (Baqara: 125)

Allah the Most Supreme orders to every rich and healthy Muslim (man and woman) who is of responsible age, mentally, financially fit to go on pilgrimage to Mecca once in his or her life.
Hajj (pilgrimage) removes all degree, color, race, language differences; it unites all Muslims. It is a miraculous worship which is an act of thanks to Almighty Allah for physical health and wealth.
Hajj is a divine center and meeting place. The Compassion and Approval of Allah the Most High descend there. Pilgrimage is the fountain of divine blessings. This divine fountain enables a man to reach spiritual maturity.
It is a great happiness to be able to go on pilgrimage and to participate in that divine meeting.
That center provides enormous spiritual power to one who performs it.
During pilgrimage a man can encounter many difficulties. Only and only love overcomes those difficulties. A person should consider those troubles as acts of compassion thus worthy to be experienced.
Muhammad (peace be upon him)the Messenger of Allah requires:
„Most precious worship is the most difficult one.“

Pilgrimage is an ocean of divine grace and a source of light.
During hajj (pilgrimage) a man absolutely has to be honest and patient. He must behave humbly and abstain from all kinds of disputes. His body and clothes should be pure.
Muhammad (peace be upon him) informs:
„A complete pilgrimage is like jihad.“

„Allah forgives all sins, major or minor, of the people who go on pilgrimage with honestly earned money and without committing bad deeds and hypocrisy. They will come out as sinless as a newly(born child (just delivered by his mother).“

„The reward of Hajj Mabrur (the one accepted by Allah) is nothing except Paradise.“

A person going on pilgrimage must have pure sincerity in his heart. His or her intention has to be only to obtain the Approval of Almighty Allah.
If his or her intention is sincere, by Allah the Most High´s order, angels protect him or her.
Muhammad the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) proclaims:

„Pilgrims are under the divine protection of Allah the Most Great.“

If his or her intention is not sincere, he or she only suffers trouble.
Our Master Prophet (peace be upon him) ordains:

„If someone worships with the intention of ambitious display, he remains deprived of Almighty Allah“s Compassion.“

MECCA, Saudi Arabia - Thousands of Muslim pilgrims rushing to complete a symbolic stoning ritual during the hajj tripped over luggage Thursday, causing a crush in which at least 345 people were killed, the Interior Ministry said.

The stampede occurred as tens of thousands of pilgrims headed toward al-Jamarat, a series of three pillars representing the devil that the faithful pelt with stones to purge themselves of sin.

Interior Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Mansour al-Turki said 345 people were killed. Dr. Abbasi, a Red Crescent doctor at the scene, put the number of injured at 1,000.
Footage from the scene showed lines of bodies laid out on stretchers on the pavement and covered with sheets. Ahmed Mustafa, an Egyptian pilgrim, said he saw bodies taken away in refrigerator trucks.

An Egyptian pilgrim, Suad Abu Hamada, heard screaming and “saw people jumping over each other.

“The bodies were piled up. I couldn’t count them, they were too many,” he said.
State-run Saudi television Al-Ekhbariyah reported that most of the victims were from South Asia.

Luggage fell from buses
The stampede happened as pilgrims were rushing to complete the last of three days of the stoning ritual before sunset, al-Turki said. Some of the pilgrims began to trip over dropped luggage, causing a large pileup, he said. Many pilgrims carry their personal effects with them as they move between the various stages of the hajj.

The site is a notorious bottleneck for the massive crowds that attend the hajj pilgrimage and has seen deadly stampedes in the past, including one in 1990 that killed 1,426 people and another in February 2004 that killed 244.

This year’s hajj was marred by the Jan. 5 collapse of a building being used as a pilgrims’ hotel that killed 76 people in Mecca.

The pillars are located on a large pedestrian bridge, the width of an eight-lane highway over the desert plain of Mina outside the holy city of Mecca. A number of ramps lead up the bridge to give pilgrims access to the site, and the stampede occurred at the base of one ramp.

Construction proves ineffective
Mina General Hospital, a small facility several hundred yards from the site, was filled with injured, and some victims were sent to hospitals in Mecca and Riyadh, said Ismail Abdul-Zaher, a doctor at the hospital.
Ambulances and police cars streamed into the area, and security forces tried to move pilgrims away from part of the site, though thousands continued with the ritual.

The stampede took place despite Saudi efforts to improve traffic at the site, where all 2.5 million pilgrims participating in the annual hajj move from pillar to pillar to throw their stones, then exit.

Saudi authorities replaced the small round pillars with short walls to allow more people to throw their stones without jostling for position. They also recently widened the bridge, built extra ramps and increased the time pilgrims can carry out the rite — which on the second and final days traditionally takes place from midday until sunset.

Early morning versus midday
Shiite Muslim clerics have issued religious edicts allowing pilgrims to start the ritual in the morning, and many Shiites from Iraq, Iran, Bahrain, Lebanon and Pakistan took advantage to go early in the day.

“This is much better. We are now done with the stoning before the crowd gets larger,” an Iranian pilgrim, Azghar Meshadi, said hours before the stampede.

But Saudi Arabia’s Sunni Muslim clerics, who follow the fundamentalist Wahhabi interpretation of Islam, encouraged pilgrims to stick to the midday rule.

The stoning ritual is one of the last events of the hajj pilgrimage to Islam’s holiest sites, which able-bodied Muslims with the financial means are required by their faith to do at least once.

Many pilgrims had already finished the stoning ritual Thursday and had gone back to Mecca to carry out a farewell circuit around the Kaaba, the black stone cube that Muslims face when they do their daily prayers.

Несостоявшиеся киргизские паломники требуют судить руководителей мусульманского духовенства страны

На встрече с директором Агентства по делам религии при правительстве Киргизии Умурзаком Мамаюсуповым, которая состоялась в конце прошедшей недели на юге Кыргызстана, обманутые паломники региона потребовали привлечь к судебной ответственности руководителей духовенства, виновных в провале их поездки в хадж.

Напомним, в статье "Лишние паломники Кыргызстана": две с половиной тысячи верующих не смогли отправиться в хадж" (Фергана.Ру, Элмурад Жусупалиев, Алишер Саипов, 10.01.2006), мы сообщали, что по вине организаторов хаджа более трети оплативших все расходы мусульман не смогли поехать в паломничество.

На встрече представители муфтията страны (управление мусульманского духовенства) попытались оправдаться перед пострадавшими, но публика не хотела их даже выслушать. По словам казы (духовного судьи) Джалалабадской области Дильмурата Орозова, только из этой области в этом году подали документы на поездку в хадж более 1600 человек, что вдвое больше обычного. Более семисот из них не смогли уехать в Мекку, а другая часть вернулась обратно из разных стран по различным причинам. "Мы подавали все документы в муфтият раньше многих. Однако по вине руководителей штаба по отправке в хадж наших людей "отодвинули", - сказал Орозов. - То, что я тоже являюсь членом этого штаба, я узнал только после того, как возникли эти проблемы".

У 85-летнего аксакала Хабибуллы-хаджи супруга и четверо близких родственников вернулись обратно из Бишкека, потерпев серьезные убытки. По его мнению, вся эта проблема возникла из-за алчности работников муфтията, которые получают с каждого паломника "долю" в пять долларов США.
>"Пострадали не только люди, - отметил аксакал, - мы опозорили страну на весь мир. С виновников надо спросить по всей строгости".

По мнению хаджибаши (уполномоченные по хаджу на местах) Сайфиддина Хайдарова, который возит людей в хадж уже более десяти лет, во всем виноваты руководители муфтията и их представители на местах. Он считает, что в махинациях с делами паломников замешаны также люди, которые хотят очернить Ислам и ввести смуту в ряды мусульман. Хайдаров сообщил, что в Бишкеке инициативной группой создана комиссия, куда вошли 17 человек из хаджибаши и несостоявшихся паломников. Они намерены провести собственное расследование и передать дело в соответствующие органы.

Отвечая на вопросы граждан, директор Агентства по делам религии У.Мамаюсупов сообщил, что руководству муфтията дан срок до 25 февраля, чтобы они сами разобрались в ситуации. После указанного срока Агентство рассмотрит ситуацию и вынесет свое решение. У.Мамаюсупов признался, что раньше с учетом того, что религия отделена от государства, агентство взирало на подобные проблемы со стороны. "Теперь этого не будет. Мы будем принимать самые жесткие меры в отношении виновных, поскольку здесь затронуты права наших граждан. Виновники обязательно понесут заслуженное наказание и возместят понесенные убытки", - заявил он.

У.Мамаюсупов также подчеркнул, что в следующем году первыми в хадж будут отправлены те, кто не смог поехать туда в этом сезоне. В ответ на это прозвучал вопрос одного из обманутых аксакалов Каримова Абдували: "А вы можете дать гарантию, что мы доживем до этого времени?"

Nima qilibdi deng? Hech narsa... Yulduz Usmonova ham Allohning bir bandasi. Mayli siz etganchalik gunohlaridan poklanib kelgan bo'lasin.. Bu yog'iga qanday bo'lishini birga klip va konsertlaridan kuzatib boramiz... 2004yilgi konsertida fotiha surasini o'qigandi... Lekin aynan o'sha konsertda islom aqidalarining hech bir miyorlariga to'g'ri kelmaydigan ahvolda raqqosalar sahnani "bezashgadi"...
