Has anybody read here Freakonomics? Then you must know what Im talkin about. Incredible book! you must get one. ;)

You guys heard about apples and oranges, right? In english when comparing two different things that has nothing in common, one can say that "comparing those two things is equal to comparing apples with oranges"(because apples are not oranges and vice-versa...hmm um, very poor definition:) ). But in fact, scientists found out that this statement does not stand anymore. Apples and Oranges DO have something in common. :)

No it's not from Freakonomics:) , but you can find much more interesting things in this book. ;)

for more info on apples and oranges... (http://www.people.virginia.edu/~rjh9u/apporang.html)

Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand
Ya v vostorge ot etoy knigi i rekomenduyu vsem =))

Atlas Shrugged is a mystery story, Ayn Rand once commented, "not about the murder of man's body, but about the murder—and rebirth—of man's spirit." It is the story of a man—the novel's hero—who says that he will stop the motor of the world, and does. The deterioration of the U.S. accelerates as the story progresses. Factories, farms, and shops shut down or go bankrupt in ever larger numbers. Riots break out as food supplies become scarce. Is he, then, a destroyer or the greatest of liberators? Why does he have to fight his battle, not against his enemies but against those who need him most, including the woman, Dagny Taggart, a top railroad executive, whom he passionately loves?... "To Kill A Mocking Bird" by Harper Lee
"The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald
"Lord of The Rings" by J.R.R. Tolkien (much better than the movies)
"1984" by George Orwell

Yeap, his Brothers Karamazov is my favourite book, then come the others,
but, " Idiot" is sooo difficult that I had to spend 3 months:shock: to read it!read some pages, dropped for a while, then began again and so on, difficult to read at a seat , like The Da Vinci Code.:P

Mopassant, though it is one of classics, he is tiring, and not so interesting!!
