View Full Version : Uzbek food in florida???
my cousin have moved recently to Orlando-Florida
he asked me if there was an Uzbek restaurant there???
I have to tell you that I have been looking for the Uzbek restauraunt in Orlando for a long time and never found one. I guess there are no any in Orlando itself, but there is a russian store and deli called Lacomka on Semoran/Aloma, Orlando. He can find some russian food there.
But if your cousin finds out anything please let me know too..

Brother, I've been living in Orlando for 1 year now, but there is none Uzbek restaraunt in here. As Leo said I know Lacomka, and there is also another Russian store on US-192, it is located right on the corner of Hoagland on 192. I usually go to Halal Food restraraunts and they food is very smilar to ours, but just little spicy. There is a very good PhiliSteack Halal food restaraunt right on the corner of 535 in Orlando, behind the Ja'ma Masjid. There are other couple more restraunts on Orange Blossome Trail 2 blocks before the Florida Mall. I'll PM you my contact infor and if you want you can give it to your cousin. I'll be able to take him around and inroduce these places, or explain him how to get there......
Inshallah, I'll have an intention to open a new Uzbek food restraunt in near future......
