In one of the surahs Allah said that he has put love in our hearts so that we love each other. And, of course love of Allah is above everything.

As for the topic, I think everyone has been in love but it is different in everyone and someone may even insist that he has never loved. :)

There are so many nice girls outside. Every second one is the one to fall in love with. One for her beauty, the other for her body, the third one for her intelligence, and the other for her charm and still the other one is for all these characters combined. Choose and never get stuck ;)

Allah is full of Mercy and Love and People who love each other for the sake of ALLAH swta will be under HIS shadow on the day of Judgement! Therefore, the unity of brotherhood and sisterhood is very important in Islam. To love each other for HIS sake is very important.

As the love for the person, I love everyone, my family and friends. However, I dont think I have ever loved a man considering marriage life:( At times I feel so alone as my family is far away. My soul feels drawning, my heart crying and my thoughts pondering in the middle of nowhere. I keep writing poems not knowing who they are for, I go to play tennis, go out for a meal, watch a film.....I do anything to get rid of this feeling but it keeps getting back to me...... I hate to feel like that

Love for Allah have to be above anything else. Loving someone or something more than Allah is shirk.

In the case of love between husband and wife, I have heard one hadith, the source of which I can't recall:

Muhammand SAW said : People chose wives with one of these traits:
For their wealth
For their beauty
For their Iman
The one who choses the latter will find Barakah.

Of course, this is directed to Muslims. For a cow, these is no difference between beautiful flower and bundle of alfa-alfa.
