I'm from Uzbekistan myself, used to learn it at school, but now since I've moved ;forgot all the words. Can somebody maybe please post some basic words, common phrases or anything of that matter? I'm trying to reconnect with my roots :spiral:

Ochman ga kelsak, "I'm hungry"ni directly tarjima qilgandim shunaqa bulib qoldi...

"Qornim ochdi" degan narsani boshqa tilga tarjima qilingchi nimaga o'hshab qolar ekan? :P

I left uzbekistan 6 years ago, I lived in Toshkent, but spoke mostly Russian, I used to learn Uzbek at school but now I have forgotten it.But thank you for your help though

Liceyga endi kirgan bola qizlardan eshitib "ilib" olibdida shu gapni. Bir gap keganda "ya studentka v licei" deganda eshitganlar andava bo'pqogandi kulaverib.

Hmmm, I left Uzbekistan more than five years ago and I still remember Uzbek well.

some words :

a'lo - otlichno
zo'r - zamechatelno, otlichno
yaxshi - xorosho, xoroshiy(aya)
mumtoz - velikolepniy (aya), klassicheskiy(aya)
yomon emas - neplkho, neplokhy (aya)


Remember - the words in Uzbek are not divided on masculine and feminine.

40 - qirq
50 - ellik
60 - oltmish
70 - etmish
80 - sakson (there is no connection with Saxon);)
90 - to'qson
100 - yuz (yuz is also "face")
