Evgin, using the world "useful" you mean that after joining UEFA more Uzbek players will play in European league?
I think, that the Uzbekistan footballers simply should stop receiving the offers from half professional Kazakh and Russian leagues and move to Europe - even if at first time they will be accepted by second division clubs.

No, No, No! They would end up looking like Kazakhstan    Chances of ever qualifying for anything = 0%.

ahm..my friend,i actually didnt know the interest of Uzbek players for Kazakh league(i'm from Türkiye),i just thought that joining to Uefa could improve ur both national team and the football players.
ur talented players could proove themselves easier in the matchs they played against famous european players.also challenging with better national teams would be a great experience for them.Azerbeycan and Kazakhstan did so and on long term we will see their rise up0 in football.
i guess same choise of Uzbekh football would be great,we would conquer europ together:)sincerely...

I think you are wrong about this. I think all Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan will ever experioence is being crushed over and over and over again. I never expect them to improve or compete in Europe. Uzbekistan competes well in Asia- why would they leave? They aren't good enough yet to qualify for the World Cup from Asia yet. In Europe they would just sit at the bottom of some division with no hope of ever qualifying. I would like to note Uzbekistan is much stronger than Kazakhstan or Azerbajan. Still- not strong enough to compete in UEFA.

Turkey was worse before 20 years,we were celebrating the matchs which we didnt see 3-4 goals in our nets:) but we held the thirt position in world cup.
i dont know if Uzbekhstan is stronger than Kazakhstan but she musn't be very strong 'cause we can't see her in world cups.waiting 15 year in Uefa to qualify world cup would be better than waiting one more five years in asia,i guess
i am not an European culture fan or something...but when u look for a long term perspektive u will realise challinging bigger teams would automatically increase the qualitie of both Uzbekh national league and the national term.
it's just an idea...

I also think other nations in the world are improving- and Europe isn't the only place for good football. Look at the 2002 World Cup. Everyone complained it was because the championship was held outside of Europe. Well Europeans need to note that this world cup everyone but europeans will be travelling far. I guess we will see what happens! Should be exciting!:D
Also- central aisa does not posess the economy or resources of turkey. Tehy will not be able to build like Turkey has over the past 15 years. Also Turkey is a huge country with a large population. The central asian states are not that big. I don't think you can compare Turkey's road to success with central asia's possibilities for the future in football.

it is not about population, greece has the same population(avaregely) with Uzbekhstan but they got the euro cup.if Uzbekh people interest to fottball can be increased, there wont be any diffuculty to finance the sportive financing in football.

I like your enthusiasm and optimism. Greece won the Euro championship with a terrible team- and they made it as boring as they could. :? So I guess even paraguay could win the World Cup.
In Uzbekistan we are talking about a country where a large percentage of the population is poor and can't afford to eat. I do not think we can compare this to Greece.

I do not think development of football (or at least bringing up good players) is purely related to economic conditions of the country. Look at African countries. They are everywhere. Look how they are playing in Europe. They are no bad than any European teams.
I guess our problem is CORRUPTION. period. We need to get rid of this dirty illness. Corruption is stopping the development of football in our country, like it is doing in every aspect of our life.

But they might not be violent with their Turkish brothers yea i agree, they are way too violent against eachother, if you ever saw a game of galatasaray vs fenerbahce they all flame eachother in all ways. I think it must change a little bit, i saw the game of kazakhstan against Turkey last year, their players where all kind, good to Turkish ones but the Turkish players did play like (sorry for this) bunch of animals, they where rude and harsh.
But today Turkish football federation and Azerbaijan ff. did sign a threaty about they will co-operate with eachother for more improvements of azeri football league and such (wich i cant proper translate :s). Today Azerbaijan 1 - 1 Turkiye, Turkiye whas with 10 players for 15-20 minutes but still scored a goal (hasan kabze for Turkiye and Hasan for azerbaycan).

Does it matter to you that most of the players in central asia are usually russian (or ukranian, etc.)? For example you mentioned Kazakhstan- I think almost the entire team is Russian.

Most of the national teams players for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan are russian. Not sure about the other countries. But Uzbekistan have just little more Uzbek Turkic players than Russians, anyways, nationality doesn't matter in the game most important is the relationship between the countries, the people and other things, it suppose not to be only footbal, but box, tennis, kurash, karate, oplimics and etc...

Most of the national teams players for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan are russian. Not sure about the other countries. ive seen many Turkic players in kazakhstan and in azerbaycan then russians, there where only few in kazakhstan when they played against us. Maybe they leaved the russy's at home because of fear :D
Origin isnt important, look at japanese team, they have even a brasilian who cant even speak proper japanese for example or better the french national team, they exist of 70% "imigrants" (zidane, anelka, henry, treziquet, etc).

I agree- it doesn't matter- but these countries are not very turkic when it comes to football. They play with russian players and russian tactics. Oh- and Kazakhstan played mostly russians players based on what I read here.

It is important to note that Kazakhstan is about 50% russian and other slavic ethnicities.
p.s. does anyone who isn't white count as an immigrant in france?

Bu it is still Kazkhstan, and people who goes to stadiums to chear for their team majority are Kazakhs.
PS: I remember my friend went to Kazkhstan to watch the game Directly in the stadium were Turkey and Kazakhtan matched for WCQ, so there are lots of fans for Turkish teams in Uzbekistan and most are Uzbek turks.

p.s. does anyone who isn't white count as an immigrant in france? Oh, you must live here in europe to know what actually i mean, everyone that does looks non-european are considered "stranger, imigrant" even if you have their nationality they classify you of your looks.
They only accept you as their own if you do something good for them, for example zidane; he's world class player but from algerian (even tough he says he has a Turkish grandfather) origin, he did many things for france etc -he's accepted as a french.

No, no, no... I think it is a good idea for Uzb to join the UEFA, OFF ??? the first 5, maybe even 10 years of playing football in Europe and losing all of them might ???, that is no doubt, but as time passes the youth will play the standard of European players, maybe even better.... U never know, Kazakhstan well they are an excpetion, they all are russian players, but yes I do not say there are no russian players in UZB national team, but as we can see there are ??? UZB players in the team... Well to conclude yes UZB should join UEFA.

Salam qardaslar
I think this is a good idea, in the long term Ozbek Football will benefit, just look at Turkey they used to get beat by teams like San Marino :( if they lost 4-0 it was a Success  but now they can come 3rd in the World Cup, Galatasaray has won the Uefa and Super Cup, Fenerbahce has players like Anelka, Alex, Appiah etc Turkey youth team is very strong.
Plus Azerbaycan recently has rapidly improved, yes right now its getting some bad beatings :( but know this, in a few years we will with our Turk bro's in Turkey take the game to Europe :D
I think the Football Federations of all the Turkic Countries should form some sort of Union and sign some deals to participate, help each other and work together, I think this has already been mentioned?
My ultimate dream is a World Cup Quater Final like this
Ozbekistan Vs England
Turkmenistan Vs Kirgizistan
Turkey Vs Brazil
Azerbaycan Vs Kazakistan :P
I would support all our teams, what-ever happens a Turk Dovlet is gonna get to the Semi Finals.
Hey, don't laugh too hard, if someone told you 20 years ago Turkey could come 3rd in the World Cup you would probobly have ended up in a mental assylum :D
