Today there is a hot topic about giving a green card to all foreign students who are getting PhD's at US universities because USA goverment has to encorage these young talented people to work for U.S companies.
What do you think about this? Do you think that one day the US will automatically give these people green cards?

They should. Now most of the people who are doing their Ph.D let's say in Biology(that's what I know), are foreign people not Americans. Science is really going down here in US, no financial support comparing to other developed countries.
btw, is it true about Green Card thing? where have you heard?

I just saw this proposal on TV. This issue is very hot topic in the media today. They don't automatically give Green Cards to PHD students it is only talk. It wasn't the issue before because foreign students wanted to stay in U.S. but now they choose to go back and do research and work at their home county. I think it happened not because there is no financial support but young generation prefers to be a doctor or a lawyer.
