I was listening to a wartime song and was overwhelmed with thoughts on Uzbekistan. I am shooting the thoughts out to the forum space....

some verses from the song:
Когда-нибудь мы вспомним это,
И не поверится самим.
А нынче нам нужна одна победа.
Одна на всех - мы за ценой не постоим.

now my thoughts:
in WWII the enemy was well defined. it was terrible, or according to the song it was unbelievable, but the goal was well defined - victory. it was unbelievable but people did not have time to think. they acted, they fought.

what is going on in Uzb is also unbelievable but extremely confusing and increasingly unclear. On one hand, overall stability is there. On the other, there are no happy people (except some powerful or some delusional people).

there is a lot of time to think. no will to act. the more you think, the more confused you get. you see that no one is right. you can not explain it. but you feel it. it is more intuitive.

what's going on today is unbelievable, yet the solution is undefined. the solution is not in one pill. alternative ideas are not credible, their proponents do not inspire trust. Someday, I hope it will be more clear to all of us. Когда-нибудь мы вспомним это, и не поверится самим...

best,
Aurora
