My auntie has two daughters, both of them are very nice and extremely beautiful... My auntie and my grandma always wanted me to marry to one of them since I was a boy... I always said no and keep saying no, because both of them are like my sisters... and there is no way that I could marry to one of them "ever"...
For everybody else I believe that it is ok to marry one's cousin, just need to make sure that they are not really blood related... I think that one should not marry his dad's side uncle's daughter;), becuase of their blood...

A few years ago, I knew from my best friend (who is in good relations with my parents) that one of my cousins was willing marrying me. It was a top secret in my family, so none told me fearing to spoil our relations. Except for my friend :) I was shocked indeed :shock: ... Time goes by, but neither my parents nor my cousin know that I know about the case. In those rare cases when I visited their home, I behaved as his sister and loved cherishing his kid. :)

By saying blood related, I mean the same or similar blood... baby will have his father's blood in his body, that's why there is DNA, sometimes to find father of baby in medecine they do DNA testing...two brother's have the same blood and their chilldren will have the same blood...

Religiously you are not allowed to marry anyone related to you by your fathers line. But on the medical standpoint it is as bad. See, not only the father but the mother carries the family genes. When X and Y coming from the same blood get together the chances of getting the family decease which runs in the family genes increases. Particularly, some desease can be carried only by X and some only by Y but if they get together then it maximazies the risk for the child.

Я имею отношение к генетике.
Так вот среди жителей Узбекистана особенно в кишлаках часто встречаются близкородственный браки. В результате чего происходит усиление определенных генов и усиление наследственных заболеваний. И я сам наблюдал детей с дибилизмом и умственным или физическими отклонениями. Жалко ведь дети они не виноваты.Тем более мы живем в современном мире и нука доказывает свое.

А вот еще вспомнил - Дед мои когдато говорил "он еще учился в настоящем медресе" . Что браки должны заключаться среди лиц не имеющих общих корней до 5-го колена. "5 погонагача каримдош булишкеракемас".
