I always wonder where these guys get there information to write on these topics. I seriously doubt it is from first person interview or experiences. I also don't like the idea that the answer for "fixing" Central Asia needs to come from the EU. I personally didn't like the analysis. The author seems to be someone who spent too much time in politics or dealing with the government.

As for the information source, it is mostly an open source, then interviews with people - experts on the ground, officials, prior publications.
