It seems like they are basically asking for a boycott of Uzbek cotton.

I don't think that is what the report recommends. It talks about certain injustices and environmental consequences of state cotton industry, which uses child labour, rips off farmers, furthers corruption and only benefits a few in the country, etc. It also questions Western cotton companies' motives in procuring cotton from Uzb-n being aware of child labour, unfair treatment of farmers and other problems, and urges consumers to act...

Excellent paper!!! The bitter truth about Uzb... And "Karimov" still wants to build a "great" future with ll this crap????????

Well, not buying the cotton for those reasons equals a western boycott of uzbek cotton. :rolleyes:
