This is an excellent documentary about the life and legacy of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). I recommend it to everyone.

We must be carefull of this film,
In general there are many mistakes in this film that are against Islam!
I will not go in to details, One example is showing some Persian or other nations related Minatures with the picture of Human being. Explaining Islam with non Islamic means makes no sense.
2nd MAIN problem, Inthe film there are People-non Muslims who speak about prohet Muhammad saw.
So its not recommended to accept this film as an Islamic ;)

I think both these problems have to do with the fact that the documentary was made primarily for non-muslims, particularly Americans. Using western scholars adds credibility to the story. From the muslims' point of view, as long as what is being said is true, it doesn't matter who is saying it (muslim scholar vs. non-muslim scholar). Besides, if I remember correctly, there are only two non-muslim scholars in the documentary. One of them, Karen Armstrong is quite sympathetic towards the Prophet (Pbuh) and Islam in general.
