1. Visaning eng tagida Annotation: deyilgan joyida nima deb yozilgan?
2. IAP-66 (Similar to I-20) formasida nima deb yozilgan?
3. International Student Advisorining yoniga borib so'ralishi kerak.

Agarda INA 212(e) lari bo'lsa 2 yil O'zbekistonda yashab kelmagunlaricha do'stingiz statuslarini Permanent Resident Statusiga o'zgartira olmaydilar.

Applicationni tuldirib buldim ikki kishi nomiga, yani er hotinni nomiga. shu kundan boshlab telefonla bilan yana boshqa narsalani ham offer qilishmoqda. english lesson books miye, daje englishim perfect desa bizda ispan tili ham kup ishlatiladi. egnlish tilisi kere bulmasa ispanchasini yuboraman debdi. bular kim?

2-si agar 1-etapdan utsa yani yutsa us da spnsorlik yoki stand behind buladigan odamni hatini qanday topsa buladi? hozircha ularda hech kim yuq.

I think the only reason they would deny access to someone is for diseases that are controlled in the US. Cancer is not contagious so I see no reason why they would prevent them from coming.

I was only asking because if they had dependents that were not listed on the original application I do no think they are elgible. I don't think it matters if it is the dependent or person applying that has cancer.

2. As soon as u pass interview and get a visa u can move next day within 180 days from the date of the issued visa.
3. No and no, Green card is a privilege of living and working permanently in USA. Once you stay abroad more days than those stipulated in GC rules you will lose ur GC.

It depends on doctors' (of the medical center where GC winners pass medical tests) decision. If they mark that the disease (here cancer) is being cured and is subject to further treatment in future, the consular officer will ask u if you have enough funds for curing of the disease of ur dependent in USA. You should prove that you won't apply for the government assistance for ur dependent once u have entered the US.

OK, I will give u a brief info.

If u're among those who won the DV-2008, KCC (Kentucky Consular Center - it processes the DV-lottery) will MAIL you a 'first package' inside of which u find a winning notification letter with ur case number, DS-230 for u and ur dependants, DSP-122 for principal applicant, a bar-code and instructions how to fill the applications and further steps. Once you got the first package by mail (it come by mail only) u should fill them as per instructions and mail them back to KCC. KCC will process ur applications further and prior to month when ur case no. is current the KCC will MAIL u the 'second package' with invitation to Interview at the closest US Consulate to you. Right after u sent the first one to KCC u should make all docs and certificates properly done prior to Interview. Also you should pass ur medical tests at the approved by the Consulate medical center. You can check when ur case no. will be current here http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_1770.html
Once interview date comes you with ur dependents (if applicable) come to the Consulate, pay 755 USD for each, have a talk with the consular officer and if he issues you Diversity visas, you should enter the USA within 180 day from the issued DV date.

Moreover, he was given two options to chose from. First one is to give the money, the second is to marry,on papers of course, some girl who will pay for the rest of the deal.

O.k. my question is:
As far as I know, if he wins the lottery there will not be any confirmation papers. All the job will be done via internet. Am I right in my suspicion that he is about to be fooled?

Yes, it is possible if she has his info as well as a photo.
Just ask her what's the case number: If the case number begins as: 2007 or 2008EU*******, then it's true that he might have won the DV.

Just ask them about case number. When you get it, send KCC a letter asking them to resend notification letter to the new address shown in that letter. The new address might be either an american address or uzbek address.

Look, as you said he needs to get his case number in order to make sure, right. Unfortunately, she is so sly and so carefull and gives only general information about the DV lottery.
I met my friend and he showed me one peace of paper. I think it was printed version of email message. I'll try to be short with the meaning of that letter.
O.k. here it is:

Date: April 06,2007

His name and last name:
Postal address: (which is not his home address)

Then goes all kind of B.S. giving the general information about the lottery.
After that it asks him to fill out some forms such as: 230 part I, 230 part II,DSP 122 for himself.

In the very end of this letter I can see the words " case number" but the person who made a copy put the paper in that part so it's not even visible.:(

What do you think we can do now?

As a matter of fact we're going to call to KCC right after this and try to get hold of someone who can at least give some advice what to do in this case.

If the lady from KCC told you the above-said I would recommend you to wait till the 1 July following her advice. And when you send docs follow what she said, attach good written explanation letter, don't forget to indicate the lady's (who filled ur friend's application) post address and names if you know.

If you email right now your email by July 1 could be lost, I guess.

If you lived in different part of your country of nationality for more than 6 months and were 16 years or older at that time you should obtain police certificate from the police authorities of that locality.

If you lived in different country for more than 12 months and were 16 years or older at that time you should obtain police certificate from the police authorities of that country.


In addition to military records I have been asked to provide a police certificate from Sankt-Peterburg police department about that that I have not been convicted of any crime during my military service there.
Luckily I had that certificate.

1. крякнуть пдф файл программой AP PDF Password Recovery - 6 секунд.
2. редактировать (заполнять форму) с помощью не громоздкой Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional которая весит не менее 1 Гига и жрет много ресурсов, а простенькую программу Foxit pdf editor . - 1-2 часа.
Программы полно по русскому нету, варезсайтники типа noname morenews

Такие же шансы как и у любого человека который выйграл Грин Кард. Но, то что он просрочил визу (если турiстическую тем более) ситуация у них не из самых лучших. Если узнают то отказ очевиден.

На счет болезней, вам надо проверить list of illnesses с которими не пускают в страну (HIV, etc.)

If your parents speak English pretty well, you can put 'No', and if they do not speak than you have to put 'Yes' and your complete name, relationship (son/daughter) and your current address.

If you do not follow these rules, your parents might not be issued DV visas in interview.
As you can see in the bottom of applications each applicant will sign the applications before the consular officer herein stating that he/she understands that any wilfully false or misleading statement or wilfull concealment of a material fact made by him/her may subject to disqualification of applications. Also he/she does solemnly swear that all answers to items are true and complete to the best of his/her knowledge.

To cut a long story short, be fair and true with yourself/your parents and consular officer and everything will be OK! Good luck!

I was in USNA but I chose to go to Almaty and the process, as people told you, was a piece of fruitcake :) My interview date, luckily for me, fell on Thanksgiving break so I didn't have to take a week off from school. The whole trip took 5 days. I called that small hospital affiliated with US Embassy and arranged a medical check the day before the interview. So, I flew to Almaty, took a taxi downtown, got a room in hotel for 4 days (BTW, that particular hotel was recommended to me by a friend... it was 5 minute walk from the US Embassy... I do not remember the name of it but I can dig it out for you if you want). Next day I went on the medical check, then the next day I went on the interview to the US consulate. The actual interview was less than 2 minutes. I was sophomore in private school on a full scholarship so they didn't ask me about financial support. Neither questions about residency were asked. In fact, he asked me only two questions, 'whether I like to live in US or not and what am I majoring in". That was it. They put a stamp/visa in my passport and I left. I went shopping next day and then flew back to US. The trip cost me ~2K + plus some consular fees, but it was worth it, I believe. The outcome of my case was positive and my advice would be going to KZ and get your visa over there. If anyone had a negative expirience with going through the process in Kazakhstan, please share. It is always good to see another side of the coin.

If your case number is low you can make AOS, and if ur case number is high better to get DV at the Consulate.
So basically it only becomes an issue because of the time limit.

Согласно вашему номеру у друга есть достаточно времени.
Нужно оперативно и правильно заполнить все заявки, подписать, отксерить пару экземпляров с каждой заявки и экспресс-почтой отправить в КСС. Чем раньше отправите, тем быстрее КСС обработает ваше дело и вышлет Вам во время (за 20-30 дней до даты интервью) второй пакет с приглашением на интервью.

Исходя из Visa Bulletin, в текущем году такие номера стали current (текущим) в июне, то есть интервью были назначены на июнь.

2. I saw you guys were talking about "Visa Bulletin" in www.state.gov? Can we check the status of application there? I just went to that site and got really confused.
Does the 4 last digits of the Case Number indicate the order in which he/she was selected? And that number can not exceed , say, the total number of designed applicants space that are given to certain continent (like Europe - in Uzbekistan's case)?

Нет не может, так как он dependent. Лучше ему/ей самому/ой заполнить DV Entry и уехать в США как выигравший/ая, так как согласно правилам лотереи, каждый имеет право участвовать в DV Lottery если ему 18 лет и имеет как минимум Аттестат о среднем образовании.

If you got the second package from KCC, what docs to be submitted for the Interview are clearly listed in it.

1. Если не ошибаюсь, с DV-2004 началась электронная версия DV.

2. Нет, не отправляют. Счастливчики получают "первый пакет" только по почте. Email запрашивается как optional, то есть Госдеп рассматривает в будущем уведомлять победителей по емейл, но пока только по почте. Если будут новости, Госдеп обязательно заранее сообщит на своем сайте.

При отборе претендентов личные качества участника влиять не могут. Потому что это и называется лотерея Diversity Visa (ВИЗЫ ДЛЯ ИММИГРАНТОВ РАЗНЫХ НАЦИОНАЛЬНОСТЕЙ), так как отбор проводится компьютером независимо от вашего образования, опыта, расы, национальности и т.д. :). А вот при получении этой визы во время Интервью, личные качество очень сильно повлияют на выдачу виз. Если консул считает, что Вы не станете "обузой" для правительства США, он выдаст Вам визу. А его решение как раз и основывается на ваших личных качествах (образование, опыт, несудимость, здоровье).

Какую именно распечатку им дали вместе с паспортами?
Это важно, так как при отказе обычно возвращают паспорта с листом бумаги, на котором разъясняется причина отказа.
Но в этом случае, консульский офицер обычно говорит, что им отказано.

Исходя из рассказа Вашей сестры, консул не говорил, что отказал, а сказал что позвонят им, значит:

1) им назначали административную проверку и обычно это занимает 2 недели;
2) их попросили принести недостающий документ (справку и т.д.);

Но меня интересует именно так называемая "распечатка".

Если им не отказали, а только паспорта вернули, тут может быть только одна причина:
им назначили административную проверку. Обычно она длится 2 недели, но на практике больше, а именно от 2 недель до нескольк. месяцев. В таком случае, учитывая что Ваш паспорт (имеется в виду узбекский) один-единый (не так как наш российский два - один для внутри страны, второй - заграничный), консульский офицер счел нужным их им вернуть, так как во время админ. проверки ваша родня может путешествовать за границу или им паспорта могут понадобиться внутри страны.

Я думаю, что если им не отказали, значит переживать не стоит и только ждать, и уверен, после админ. проверки их пригласят и выдадут визы.
