repeated dreams...

I think everyone of us has a dream which he saw several times...
what does that mean, is it a clue about something.
I have always dreamed that I am able to fly by myself, without any artificial help.

as for me i do not remember my dreams, very rarely might remember smth. try to get really tired during the day, so you will stop dreaming. that is what i do. :D unless you want to fly a bit. :)

I see dreams which I saw 4 years ago. sometimes I see the next series of it. When I see my dreams again, I say in my dream " Oh I've already seen this dream!". I donno what's that, smth related with psychology.

I pretty sure after a while people get tired of their own dreams, that is in the nature of human-beings. And then will come "Dreamwood" instead of Hollywood! Imagine getting permission from people and showing their dreams, the creapiest or the most exotic ones you have ever dreamed of. No need to pay for actresses, just pay the person that is all. :D Unfortunately there wont be any "to be continued" movies, unless they'll edit them.:lol: so you do not get wierd secquence of motions and stories.

That would be awesome though, dont you think :D? Imagine getting IAK's dream tape, probably will be some war movie. Or Bush's dream tape, probably there wont be any difference between Cartoon network or some cowboy movie where Cheney is a main character, a hunter :lol: it'll be something. Possibilities are unlimited.

The most incredible thing is when you know that you are dreaming and tell yourself: it is just a dream, i need to wake up.
I hate dreams that i have when I am sick and have a fever. just can't take it. :( it is very creepy. I remember that since I was little I have the same dream.

Sorry, but I can't remember them at the moment, but for sure I remember when I see them again. Ok, one was kind of I met a nice guy, I can remember his face 100%, but I have never met him in my life.
I speak once a while in my language. Once I slept with my deutsch friend Claudia in one room and she said that I said smth, but she didn't understand. I figured out that I said smth in Uzbek.
My dreams are 3D colorful :lol: I never see black&white dreams :cool:

Bush is not stupid. He is just a plain guy. Simple guy who believes in good and evil. But the surrounding...it is another topic.

I have heard from somewhere, cant tell the source, that if a person dreams of himself flying, it means he is doing good deeds, he is a good person or smth like that. Also remember that it somehow related to the words of our prophet pbuh. Not sure though.

As for the sceince, dreams r by-products of 1) unconscious wishes 2) Reflections of current concerns 3) Mental housekeeping 4) Just effects of Brain activity while sleeping.

I like the theory of Unconscious wishes by Sigmund Freud. It explains alot about why we dream and what it means. It is limited but i think it is the closest science was able to come to, so far:).

p.s. i dream alot about white narrow marble steps going up with no end seen coming out of the woods and being afraid to fall out.

The greatest dream is when you walk out of your house in Tashkent and after 100 meter, around the corner, all of a sudden, you find yourself near McDonalds in New York:) I love such dreams.

Dreams. I remember only once or twice in my life I did not dream. I fell asleep and woke up a second later and it was morning already. It is strange for me not to dream in sleep. I dream always, even when I fall asleep for 10 min.s I see a dream. And I remember some of them (not every detail though). Sometimes I know that it is my dream and say to myself "Hey, this is just a dream, don't worry". But sometimes when I woke up I say thanks to God that this was only a dream.
But I've never seen so far my dreams repeated. Always new and new ones. Even when my sleep interrupts, I wake up and fall asleep again, I see another one, not the continuation of previous one.

No, it does not depend how much are you tired. For me, for example, it does not matter whether I am tired or not-I dream anyways.

P.S. Without dreams my sleep would be boring. Just fall asleep and after half a second you wake up - this is boring.

first of all thank you for your good words...but I don't think that your first assumption is correct in my case.
I think it is the unconcious wishes, because I have always wanted to be a pilot and I enjoy flying on airplanes although I should be getting bored of'em.

I don't know what it is, but sometimes events or actions of my real life seem like I have seen them somewhere else before and try to remember what would be following next...cannot remember. However, I exactly know that that thing had happened in previous time or had seen it in my dreams. I usually cannot remember my dreams but sometimes when they are really horrible or very interesting I remember them no longer than 2-3 days. Sometimes I just thank Allah that it had been a dream.

Someone asked me while in US High School, what language did I think? Now I think in English, but I have to count in Uzbek. However the dreams are mixed, Russian, Uzbek, and English, because I miss home...
