Israel should have the right to take some refugees and perhaps feel some responsibility to do so," he said. "But no one can expect Israel on the one hand to give up land and also acknowledge an unlimited right of return that would threaten the very foundations of the state of Israel. That is not going to happen."" Israel was establsihed under the Banner of Imperialism and by taking over the lands of Palestinians. And now Clinton is saying giving the land back to the owners of the land will threaten the very foundations of Israel.
