It is the content which is expensive, not the CD itself. If you remarked the paper version and the ebook version of books have the same costs (at least for serious books )The reason of the failure of ebook launch.

I presume, the reason is because they contain everything one ever knew/knows about Islamic faith. And it is written, or more precisely translated, edited and remarked by serious academic scholars and specialists.

Sincerely, I don't read horror books so much, especially about zombies. The last thing related to zombies I read or watched was Romero's recent film on zombies. Since recently, I try to prevent myself from reading or watching violent and unpleasant images, as they influence your conscience and subconcsience.
Yesterday, when I clicked to wikipedia link you provided, I found many references to our everyday life and realities. That's why I found the book interesting. It may also suggest that today many of us have become zombies in that sense that we act according under the influence of our environment ( commercials, nationa, racial, religious propaganda, movies, books, songs, etc) without any previous thinking and balancing of our acts.

Agree, we are all zombies as products of social egalitarianism in preferences which we satisfy within the area of available budgets and skills. Schools, Unis, TV, radio, papers, food, all these are tools to make us respond equally within preferable bounds.
Nevertheless, Romero's Land of Dead sucks :) If you are interested on books about appocalypse, I would recommend to read these books: Battlefield Earth (Alien invasion), Swan Song (Nuclear War), Earth Abides (Virus) and I am Legend (Vamps). These books brought full releif of my rage. And I slept better :) Джокин'.

1. i also never read any single book on a monitor. always book-on-hands. always wonder how ppl manage to do that and enjoy...anyways,,different tastes.

Read "Angels and Demons", but don't bother with "Digital Fortress" and "Deception point". I've read all four of D. Brown's novels, and I think "Angels and demons" is even better than "The Da Vinci code". The other two are just a waste of time, believe me.
