I am looking for the cheapest option for airline tickets!

I reserved round-trip tickets from HY (O'zbekiston Havo Yo'llari) and that is coming out for $1230. + $15 if you want the tickets to be send to your destination.

However, I recently heard that Aeroflot tickets are even cheaper - around $1100. Has anyone bought tickets from Aeroflot recently? I called them but they are giving me much higher price - $1600 (maybe because I spoke in English)

If anyone had experience with them, please share with your opinion!

So... I found a flight from Cincinnati, OH to Tashkent, Uzbekistan on Travelocity and it is $1400. It goes cincinnati to atlanta to moscow to tashkent. There is that 8 hr layover in Moscow. Did anyone had a real problem(s), please share your experience. As far as the airplanes from Moscow to Tashkent Aeroflot uses A320s, there and back.

Do not worry about Moscow airports. As you have 8 hours in Moscow, you can have a short tour to Moscow downtown to kill the time.
There are free shuttle buses from the airports to the downtown. Also you can take cheap mini-buses.
If you are worried about passport check and et cetera, be confident now all personnel at the a-ports are polite and kind.

According to that, flights arriving and departure from Atlanta and Tashkent are made from Terminal 2. So does that mean it is from SVO2

Why I asked about Airport was:
Sheremetyevo-1 is for internal flights generally.

SVO-means Sheremetyevo-2 International Airport where Aeroflot is based.
From Tashkent the plane lands in SH-2 as well, cause as per your itinerary it is Aeroflot flight from Tashkent.
Delta is based also at this airport.

As your proposed flight is on January it is usually cold in Moscow and I think it's better for you to kill the time at the airport.
There are very nice waiting rooms over there or lots of cafes and et cetera.
But 5 hours are not so long to wait right at the airport.

If you buy online JFK - TAS , you'll pay double,
Better call UZB Airways office, and buy from them!!! The only thing they dont accet c.cards, you have to pay Cash or Money Order,

First, you have to talk to someone that there is a ticket available, and that person will tell you to send your documents and payment. Only way you can buy a ticket from Uzb HY is through a cashier's check only. At least that's what I had to do 3 months ago. good luck!
