Sending big shipments to Uzbekistan?

Hello hello,

Has anyone sent big personal (non-commercial) shipments to Uzbekistan? If, for instance, I want to move to Tashkent, and would like to take all my staff with me – furniture, appliances, handbags and shoes? :D

What are Uzbek customs rules and regulations about these sorts of things? What are the risks?

USPS has M-bag service. It takes 2 months to arrive, but the services is really cheap. Good for sending heavy stuff like books.

If it's for personal use you dont have to pay ANY DUTY TAXES , it's DUTY FREE!
But i dont know how you gonna ship it from UK , UzbAirways? or Royal Mail?:)

я Думала Позвонить В Интернейшнл Моверс Кампани, Попросить Их Все Запоковать И Контейнером Отправить. Кто-нудь Так Делал? Боюсь Контейнер Застрянет На Таможне И Буду Выкупать Его Потом Деньгами.

Voobshe-to ti nichego ne platish tak kak eto tvoi starie veshi. Ti prosto platish za kargo u kogo ti beresh a v Tashkente netu prava u nih brat dengi za used things. Mi dva raza privozili veshi i mebel s Veni i problem takih ne bilo. No ya esho raz sproshu u Mami. Konechno oni lyubyat mozgi po krutit prosto nado ih na *** posilat i vsyo. :D

Shunga aytamanda, bazi kitoblarni hali o'qimaganman ham, pensiyaga chiqqanda maza qilip o'qiman dep opqo'yaman bazi yaxshi kitoblarga ko'zim tuship qosa. Choyhonada chollar bilan o'tirganda ko'ra qiziqroq bo'ladida, a nima dediz ;) Shunga sal ko'z qiymayroq turiptida.
