Is there any uzbek food in London??

i visit London very offen these days, is there any place where i could buy uzbek food. i know some places where they do salad tashkent "achu-chuchu", shashlik "turkish kebab" etc...

oh, oh, reminds me - there is a great little restaurant in North London - Hendon to be exact. the owner is a lovely Afghani Uzbek otaxon, who speaks fluent Uzbek. they amazingly delicious great osh, manti and nice salads - i will load up their menu tomorrow with the exact address.

The exterior is nothing special - it looks more like a small shabby cafe - but don't be fooled by its looks. I always order osh and manti, and they are excellent and just like you in Uzbekistan. They serve manti with a very spicy daal, and if you want a truly authentic experience, you might want to ask them to serve them with a yogurt instead.

The old chap who owns the place is very charming and friendly - do talk to him if you get a chance. :)

Here, I have taken some pictures in this restaurant. I took my o'zbek friends there and they loved osh and manti' , amazing green tea with cardamon, enjoy the pictures and DO visit this place, u won't regret it even pricewise.
For four of us we paid 37 pounds, 4 portions of chicken soup, 2 giant oval plates of plov with big chunks of lamb meat, 2 plates of manti' 10 pieces in each, salads, bread and approx. 10 teapots of tea with traditional sweet halva, oh guys that was the feast!

Owner of the restaurant Hojiaka as aforementioned fluent in Uzbek, understands and speaks russian too, so please refrain from russian slang ;) . Hojiaka is always happy to see uzbeks in his restaurant.

One negative part of the place probably it is not in Central London.

Hojiaka, when I visited his cafe, told me he used to live for long time in Tashkent, as well in Poland and that him and his business partners had introduced first electronics shops. Did he talk about this? :D By the way, I agree with food reviews, they are fine.
