I yesho odin nyuans: lyudi iz kishlakov Samarkandskoy oblasti govoryat ochen pohoje s lyudmi iz kishlakov Ferganskoy dolini. Ya sam ochen mnogo vremeni provoju v kishlake, navernoye poetomu ya neskolko raz prinyal samarkandskih lydey za dolinskih :-).
A v celom vsyo.

This are the variations of the uzbek word "kelmoq" (to come), in the present continous tense:
1. Fergana-Margilan-Kokand dialekt (kelyabti)
2. Andijan-Osh dialekt (very similar to #1)
3. Namangan dialekt (kelutti)
4. Tashkent dialekt (kevotti)
5. Buhoro-Samarqand dialekt (kelobti)
6. Surhandaryo- Qashqadaryo dialekt (similar to #5)
7. Horazm (to my best knowledge: Galyabti, this is the most distinguishable dialekt in Uzbek language. Almost as different language)
8. Karakalpak language ( it is not a dialekt of Uzbek , but separate language spoken in autonom republick of Karakalpakstan)
This is translation in english.

Ukkag'ordi ullari, qaladigan ishlaring juqma silardi a? :-)
"kelmoq" so'zi hozirgi zamon 3-shaxs formasida Surxondaryo va Qashqadaryo vohalarida "kelopti", "keleychiydi"(Shahrisabz) yoki "kelyapti" shakllarida keng qo'llaniladi.
Misol: Siz ham usha joyga borsangiz, men ham kelar edim.
Shahrisabzda: Siz ham ushaqqa borsaiz, men ham keleychidim. :-)
Moni shundaychikin gaplar juralar ;-)
Samarqanddagi ba'zi tumanlarda ham sheva biznikidaqa.

AFAIK there are 3 dialektical areas (Lahjalar) in Uzbek languages.
I think the Uzbek word " Lahja " is in English "Dialekt".
They are followings
1. QARLUQ Lahjasi .(The Dialect of KARLUKS )
2. QIPCHOK Lahjasi ( The Dialect of QIPCHOKS)
3. O'G'UZ Lahjasi ( The Dialect of O'G'USES)
I dont remember exactly to which areas of Uzbekistan first two Dialects refer to, but the third one is refer to Uzbeks who live in Horazm, Qarakalpakistan and Tash'houz(which is in Turkmenistan).
As Bittasi told this main Dialects also divides into subdialects, even subsubdialects.
But i dont support his opinion about Horazmian dialect (which is called "O'g'us lahjasi" in our "Uzbek language" books) that it is something different from first two one. It is the same language ( i mean Uzbek) but some sounds pronounces differenrly ,espesially in Verbs and Adjectives ( i.e. "k" is pronounces like "g" ). But you shouldn't think that there is no sound "k" or others in this dialect. It uses , but rarely that Official Uzbek language.
The second reason of its seeming as diifferent languages is that, for a long time (maybe for a centuries) the official language are not used in everyday life of people of this area. These people had nothing to do ( actually they are banned)with politics, meetings and other official activities before SU, during SU and after SU. So thats why there was substantial changes in this dialect.
Nowadays each village, even each street can have its own subsubdialect, which by time can grow to the independent dialect.
I am not Philolog. All above is just my surveys.
Thank you for attention
There were people called "Orol o'zbeklari", that is, who lived near Aral sea. This is from my knowledge of history, so far. :) Maybe this will help you.
