hi what kinda papers i have to prepare to get guest/travel visa to UK . I am in Us. so plz and what kinda visas they will issue i mean for how long like 4 years or smth like thaT PLZ !!

you can only get visitor visa for 6 months max, and not extendable.
If you have a degree, try applying for Highly skilled migrant program (initially given for a year), or get a job here and apply for work visa, if you want to stay 4 years.

Well you can get it for more. I know Uzbek citizens who get visit Visas for a year. Obviously, the longer you choose the more you pay.

I would recommend you to tick the 6 months box, do not risk it with ticking the boxes with more years they could get suspicious.

Even if you apply for 4 years, they can refuse it but give you 6 month visa !!

you can get a visa for 1 year, but maximum stay in the Uk should not exceed 180 days during that year, my mother had a year visa, because I did not know this rule, and did not look at her visa, she overstayed 2 months (although her visa was valid).

thanks a lot !!! i got so i can get 6 month visa !! so i want to visit this summer so i have to apply in may . is any paper i have to prepare like statents and some other docs to proof finance....

If you were not too lazy and would have visited the link I gave you, you'd know. Anyway, you do need proof of finance e.g bank statements.

as Mrs Reaper stated above , you'll need
1. Bank Statement
2.Job you got in your home country
3. anything that proves that u'll come back once you are done with your visit to UK

as u said before that u r in the USA....its much easy to get a visa...but it depends on u current status there.....e.g I have friends(imigr uzbek) who visited UK 2 times,for them was much easier cos they r cittz.....
i sent nothing to them ....and they got 6 month v
but when my other friend came from Japan...(status student)I sent documents like bank statment letter from my Institute...and on the application he put my name and address,and others supporting doc from Japan like financial .....letter from University....
so it depends.........

i think you should be vip to get that kind of visa...
