I wanna bring LCD/Plazma TV to Uzbekistan, but my friends told me, that any item I bring over 1000 USD should be import taxed. Is it true? WHat if I do the receipt in other currency and buy it for less then 1000 USD? Can anybody give me viable advice. Thanks.

If it is your own item, U do not have to pay them anything.

They have no right to tax you for your own tv or anything that belongs to you. :rolleyes:
