What do you think about people who make papers (visas etc...) under the table for annual Hajj to Mecca, like the ones who make you Hajj visa ( for money of course) from neighboring countries, let's say Uzbekistan is issued certain number of Hajj visas By Arabia and so are other countries, and uzbek "imams" with the collaboration of their Tajik "parties" make you- a citizen of Uzbekistan a Hajj visa but make it from Tajikistan, thus stealing a place from tajik muslims at the state Hajj level. This can go vice versa, tajik imams get their hands on uzbek Hajj visas and send their citizens and that's what's going on right now.

Note, that when it is issued from Tajikistan, an Uzbek citizen must travel to Tajikistan to fly to Hajj, he CAN NOT fly to Hajj from Tashkent.

Share your thoughts about thieves - imams and their entourage.

i've been thinking of this issue for such a long time. its not only imams' initiative, but ordinary people as well. the same thing is going between KYR and UZB citizens. there are soooooooooooooo many people from my city and surrounding area i hear about who have gone to Haj through KYR.

anyways, i have another question - is it ever possible to apply for visa in Tashkent for the Haj season individually - just like you do for visiting any other place in the world??? i know about certain #s given to each country, but wouldn't they just consider this applicant as another person in a row? what would be the problem to do so?

appreciate your answers.

I think it is just easier and cheaper in Kyrgyzstan.

Same problem is within Uzbekistan itself. As we know all neighborhoods / mahallas , local administrations have right to present candidates for Hajj. However that is becoing more and more obvious that those places are provided not for those who need that, but those who has been there several times. Personally I know several people in my mahalla who has been in Hajj more than twice and still aply there and keep passing, while there are many who want but cannot.

its not the issue of "buena, bonito, borato" - its the issue of "halal and haram"

unfortunately, it is simply a lie to go through another country as you have to change your passport and get a fake one as a citizen of that country.

or are there ways when they are not required to do so? anybody, any info? pleeeeeeeeease!

hajga borishi muhim emas, niyati muhim, bormasayam haj savobi yoziladigan insonla bor, uni ustiga yolg'on bilan birov shu joyga umid qilib turigan holda, boshqa mamlakatdan kelib egallavosa joyni, halol bomiydi.

Beware of people who offer you hajj visa, some of them are members of this forum.

A very close to me person got in this situation, who after finding out that they are engaged in an illegal way of obtaining Hajj visa, rejected their offer, but they already had taken that person's passport and did not return it back. Instead they asked for $$$ in order to get passport back.

What makes me angry is that those people consider themselves as muslims, they teach Koran to their kids, got to mosques and one of them is an active member of this forum. However, I've found out a lof of scam and fake things done by that user. It is not only present things done by "them", but their history is full of lie, scam, money laundering, theft of huge amounts of government (Uzbekistan) money, numerous IDs under different names and constant lie and wrong info they give about themselves.

Beware, they are in this forum !!!

Some questions regarding Hajj:
Who imposes the monthly/yearly quota on the number of pilgrims, Saudi government or Uzbek authorities? With umrah I think there should be not restriction as it may be performed yearly. Again, is there availability of places and who coordinates them? As for Uzbekistan, does the same apply, ie if one wishes to travel on umrah, visa procedures as in hajj or simple travel visa application?
