What did you buy to your wife/husband/girl friend/boy friend?

I've bought silver set which includes earring, necklace and rings. It's beautiful.

I havent bought anything to anyone, i have lots of peole that i love, but this day is not a celebration day or special day for me to congratulate my loved ones. This celebration comes from christianity, i guess. Sorry if i was the reason to break your celebration mood :)

I can not understand why they celebrate this day? why they buy presents specially on this day for their loved ones? is it to show their true love or to show that they really care and love each other?

if you really love your husband/wife/boyfriend or girlfriend, you do not need a specific day to celebrate. Everyday should be a holiday for you. you should tell her/him that you really love everyday day/every moment you think about him/her and make something special for him/her: little presents, dinner or anything u can think of, to show that you can not live without her/him.

I know tons of people buy presents on that day not because they really want to make surprise for their loved ones, but because they feel like they have to buy something because it is Valentines Day. it is not something lovers want, right?:lol:

This is not a Christian Holiday... It is a Hallmar Holiday... It has nothing to do with religion...

My congratulations to those who have resisted the temptation to mimick popular, yet alien and shallow, occasions such as St. Valentine's and have not fallen prey to yet another aggresive campaign by multinational companies so that we all spend and buy useless products!

One does not need a shallow Valentine label to show his love and affection to his beloved IMHO.
