In the attached file you can find the survey compiled by Robert Walters, one of very reputable recruiting agencies in Japan and worldwide. Full survey could be downloaded from here (http://www.robertwalters.com.au/en-aus/salarysurvey/salarysurvey.do).

Note that all salaries are shown in local currencies and do NOT include bonuses/benefits. For example, in case of Japan, the currency is Japanese Yen. By recent exchange rate (1US$ = 120Yen) the salary shown as 10m Yen (10million) will be around 84K US$.

Differs on your position. But first thing to mention is - nowadays in Japan every (honest) recruiter would tell you that "it is the market of candidates". There are more job vacancies than potential number of decent candidates.
As for Japanese, in case of IBs for instance, guys with deep IT knowledge or those who are very strong in Math (for traders) could get a job without Japanese.
Other positions (like analysts), in contrary, require very proficient Japanese, which often comes at first priority. Plus, there are a lot more foreigners with good level of written and oral Japanese today, compared to 5-6 years before.

US diplom (juda leviy univermas faqat) + yaxshi Yapon tili bo'lsa unda gap yo'q ish topsa bo'ladi. Yaxshi career line boshlasa bo'ladi deb o'ylayman.
Til o'rganish, astoyidil kirishsangiz, qiyin emas, balkim qiziq (menga shunaqa bo'lgan).
Japandan tashqarida bo'la turib ham katta recruiting agencylar vositasida, oldin ishni aniq qilib olib keyin Japanga kelsa bo'ladi. Faqat, hammaga ma deb ish tayyor emas.
O'zi sohangiz nima?

Working in Japan ??? heh
Look at this:
Q10
My employer cut my wages. When I was paid only half of the wages outlined on the contract, I asked for an explanation.
He remarked only that my work was unsatisfactory.
He said I made a lot of mistakes and was often late.
Is it legal for an employer to cut wages for such reasons ?

A10
Basically it is illegal for an employer not to pay an employee the wages specified on the contract.
Also, an employer is not allowed, according to the Labor Standards Law, to make a contract forcing an employee in advance to account for a loss incurred on the job.
Accordingly, if an employer has a claim for damages (limited to damages caused intentionally and/or by malpractice), he/she must consider it separately from wages.
For absence or lateness, wages may be reduced according to the rule of employment.
Another case in which a reduction of wages is sanctioned is after several occurrences of an employee being late. This would be stipulated in the contract. In this case as stated in Q5, the amount of wage reduction should not be more than half the daily wage for a single violation, or more than one tenth of the monthly wages for all violations.
