I need help of those who are currently in Uzbekistan and can help collecting data for my research (I am currently abroad). I would also appreciate responsiveness of those who are outside of Uzbekistan, but can ask their family and/or friends to fill in the questionnaire. Respondents should live in Uzbekistan. The research is on Uzbek women: their social and economic status and paid and unpaid labor. I need to get at least 35-40 responses.
Attached is the Russian questionnaire. You can forward it via e-mail or distribute in hard copy.
PS: I made the poll public to see who is willing to help. After I identify volunteers, I will cooperate with them in private.
Thank you.

Answer the poll please. Details to come. Nothing scary or has to do with politics. So please vote. I'll post the research details pretty soon.
Nezabudka xonim, if we knew the subject, it'd be better for us and we can vote with knowledge.

Respondents should be people living in Uzbekistan.
So I think we can't help, right?
Пушкарева

Seems like no :( unless you have responsible friends in Uzb who are able to take the kind of thing serious and help.
But thank you anyways. You and another responsive non-uzbek guy above.

NEZABUDKA ,
i like your thesis and i was willing to help you , but once i opened your word document , i was schocked! :( too many questions and too detailed questions, i dont thing that anyone willing to answer to those questions, If you can make it really simple, easy to answer and finally it should not take you more then 10-15 mins to complete!
Thanks

Well, it seems complicated at first.
Section 1 and 2 should take 10-15 to answer. There is no need to provide names or any contact information, but I would very much ask not to skip any questions so that I have enough of data to evaluate the social and economic well-being. I need to see whether the income, level of education or employment status impact people's work intesity.
Section 3 will take 1 full day. Its not that tough, just briefly recording the activity in one or couple of words. Filling in the questionnaire might be interesting for women and men themselves.
Come on now, help me people!

Be advised that this is a public poll: other users can see the choice(s) you selected.
why?
Budka, too detailed, too time consuming to send to uzb..

The poll is public, because I need to see who can help and remain in touch with the people further.
You all blame the difficult situation back home, but how do you imagine changing it if you dont wanna move your a** a bit??
I am not saying that because you find the particular survey too detailed or time-consuming or because its mine. I mean it in general: how do you want to improve anything remaining so laid back and indifferent? It is our national problem - uzbeks are too laid back to change their situation.

/me waits for the Uzbek version.
Dear,
you should also give the email adress to recieve the responses.
I'll try to send to my friends, but I cannot guarantee their participation.
My tip: it'd better to complete an online-survey. It is easier and not much time-consuming. A friend of mine did such a survey when she wrote her master thesis.

now that is too much. :D
-You all blame the difficult situation back home, but how do you imagine changing it if you dont wanna move your a** a bit??
- how do you know that i do not do anything to change the situation?
Any proofs for blaming?
Or it is only you who is moving her nice part of body a little bit/or may be a lot to improve something?

The same thing about indifference.
If your questionnaire is not resumable, is it the fault of other users who noticed it?
It is you who asked for a help. Should that be your responce towards people who told their opinion?
PS. Girl, i ask you second time to carry out a normal conversation. i do hope that you can :P

Are in in Uzbekistan at the moment? Please gimme their contacts (active emails) and I will pursue them myself. I am enhaging all my friends and family too :)
I want to capture people of different ethnic backgrounds, economic and social well-being and status in the households.
For example, it would be interesting to compare daily work intensity of young married uzbek female with her non-uzbek peer. Or identify the difference between the scope of work of people from lower income households with those better off and etc.
Ponimaesh? Eto je interesno. I zaymyot tolko 1 den cheloveka. You should not force your family, of course, just explain them adequately what it is.

Thank you very much.
- Как изменился объем их работы по стравнению с советским периодом;

Hold on. If you are in Uzbekistan and you are a stay-home person - go ahead and fill it too. Its not about measuring work intensity of formally employed people, but of all. Housewives (who work a lot!), pensioners, those on maternity leave, etc.
Criteria: people should be in Uzbekistan and 15 years and older. Preferably 2 people per household of opposite sexes.

This is what I got today. It seems not that bad for a person to fill it out  The only thing, she did not indicated the minutes, so I had to mail it back asking to fill in the spots. Otherwise, she provided what I needed.
Just for you to see that it is not THAT DETAILED, as strikes people first. I.e. the person does not need to provide the very details of his/her occupation, income, etc.
у меня конечно не очень интересный день .. но это по будням .. и не всегда . вот если бы надо было описывать выходные :-) было бы намного интересней .. потому что у нас и теннис и базар .. и стирка и ужин с друзьями
хорошего тебе дня

Now, I need you to provide YOUR OWN perspective of what qualities should an "ideal" uzbek woman possess. Please limit your answer to few sentences that mention her personal qualities, skills, religiousity, education and employment. You can either provide an ideal image of mother or a wife-to-be.
Just a brief paragraph from you (girls can also respond) and please indicate your age, education level, sex and current location. You can make up a name if you want.
Thank you.
NB: For God's sake - no fights please. There are similar threads in the MND section for that. What I need here are few clear and short answers.
