Work-Permit Help

Hi guys. I know there were lots of threads concerning this topic but i just need an advise. I am currently on my final year. I am doing BA Managment and PR. I have been trying to find a job. But as soon as they find out they you need a work permit they dissmiss you with polite but irrotating appologies. I am already frustrated to death. Did anyone had similar experience if yes they how did you deal with it or what other options are. I am aware of current sutuation and that you require job offer to get work permit.

Unless you are hired by World Bank or similar organizations, most others will not go through trouble. As it takes too much time and money. And since there are people who can do what you doing but have the paperwork I wish you luck. The only people that got sponsored that i know of studied something that there is a huge demand in and have the required language background that no one else who applied had. One of them got a job in World Bank (she speaks 7 lang. fluently), the other in UN - she speaks Arabic, and the third friend works as an IT consultant but was hired due to his ability to program somethingthat no one else can- not sure what it is as I am not that IT savy... Well as i know that big 4 accounting and investment banks and shelll and P&G makes work permit. However, i tried them and there was not much successs. As i am not top universities , I think i lost my candidacy to other leading universities. Anyway, as i have tried them and got refused i am doomed now and do not now what are the options are. Does anybody know where i can get list of companies who offer work permit ?

To get a work visa in the US you need to possess skills that are not available by people already in the US. At least that is how the law is written.

There are only 2 options;
1) You must be good enough that American Company will sponsor your H-1 visa, because they can hire the same guy ( american) without apllying for H-1
2) Got your H-1 thru Consultant or some other third party company and that consultans will "lease" you to the company where you actually will work
3) Bribe Americans and get your H1 processed :cool: ( ozbecha podhod lekin qisa boladi)

P.S Best of luck and keep trying man , it's really hard nowadays to get H1 with Bs in Business,

Optional Practical Training (OPT) is a type of Immigration Employment for payment that is directly related to your major and appropirate for your level of study.
To be elegible for OPT, You must have been in school and registered full time for at least one academic year.

Well , thanks guys for you opinions. Due to my unawareness i missed graduate programs deadlines for companies who offer work permit. I am keep searching from all over uk so hopefully i will get smth. Is anybody working on work permit or got offered work permit? and how . What skills you demonstrated that you have been given an offer?

Undan keyin ish topsez bo'ladi, boshqa option graduate recruitment orqali. gradplus, doctorjob.com, milkround.com kabi website'larga borsez kim, qachon va qanaqa positionlaga qabul qivotti, work-permit qiberadimi yo'qmi va hokazo infolani topasiz. Hozir uje pochti chto tugadi sezon, yozda yana boshlanadi, ana ushanda topshiring. Keyin big 4 va bazi katta bankla sizzi qaysi univerdan chiqqanizga qarashmidi, applicationni zo'r yozsez interview stage'ga o'turas, a u yerda hammasi o'zizga bog'liq.

Thanks a lot nifti-nix. I hope i will be able to do that. Just quickly has anybody completed acca. I was thinking of doing that . What are you opinions?

Acca is good but only if you work, otherwise it may take a lot of your time to complete it. IMO, it is much better to work as an accountant and study ACCA at the same time. A friend of mine is studying it and he has 2-4 exams per year. He told me it is difficult to study it if you have no experience in accounting.
